Exactly, I can excuse 30- A width and depth cup in XS H&M dress but custom designer dress that has cups half the width of client's bust is cringe, and so are tiny cups on above 0 sizes in clothes made and marketed towards more mature women. I personally don't know any woman who has breasts this narrow. These cups look more like...nipple hats?

Imagine being pulled in all day by a steel and whale bone corset, with no circulation and forced to sit completely upright all day while being buttoned up to your neck. There was no "chillin out" in your sweats, kicked back with your feet on the furniture. I'm a guy, but I admit women go through PAIN to be beautiful. Then and now and I certainly do appreciate it.

@@CALLMESIR...actually, the common corsets back then weren’t meant to be restrictive. Working women wore them. What you are describing is called tight lacing but that wasn’t the norm either (they played with shoulder & skirt volume to make their waists look smaller and still stay comfortable). The whale boning was specifically used bc it was flexible. If you’re interested in learning more about Victorian & Edwardian era clothing I recommend searching for Bernadette Banner here on KZbin, among other things she has several videos about common corset myths.

12:15 not sure if anyone else is seeing that strange creature face in the pattern on the upper bodice. At first glance the surrounding fabric worked like visual distraction for me but then I noticed that face pattern. It looks like some sort of mythological beast suddenly emerging out of fog. I think this dress plays around with attention of the onlooker quite nicely.

I mean the grey is more accurate to Amelia Earheart if that’s what they were going for so I don’t hate the brown/grey combo. I liked Cate’s look as well and I didnt hate JLo’s look. I think they were trying to add visual interest to an otherwise boring look. And Thom Browne is PERFECT for Chanel. The belt for Jisoo's Dior dress is a definite nod to a midevil sword belt or a kilt belt. The tip off is the knot the belt is tied in at the side of the waist. Very appropriate for a "chain mail" dress.

Kylie’s face mask seems like a last minute addition. She can’t control which pictures get published at events like this. Last year people noticed how different she looks in real life compared to how she looks in her usual heavily filtered pictures. Looks like they added a real life filter to this look. It would have been a good retort to the criticism if it had been done in a better way.
