The only consistently amazing work of Dior's (embroideries in particular) is done by Indian craftsmen who are paid a meagre fraction of the garment's price and are never recognised for it. Never forget that.
@mv8908 Жыл бұрын
Yes the embroidery it's always top notch and the only beautiful thing in what mostly are plain and dull pieces of clothing
@barbabambis Жыл бұрын
I'm not doubting you at all, but can you tell me where I could read more about this, at least I want to know and explore these Indian craftspeople's work 😀 the embroidery is always one of my favorite elements in the recent dior collections
@devadharshini1122 Жыл бұрын
@@barbabambisit's mostly done by Chanakya school of crafts I guess.
@jshu-_-11 ай бұрын
well it's more a collab, the Indian craftspeople don't decide what is embroidered, the designers do. But the Indian craftspeople DO bring the designs to life so they are in need of both recognition and appropriate pay
@paganibonda11 ай бұрын
@@jshu-_- Partly true. A lot of the embroidery motifs and templates are sometimes traditional Indian designs too. Not to take anything away from the designers and their innovation in these pieces, but they are standing on the shoulders of giants when it comes to handicrafts.
