…originally from Scotland, Paul is a jazz singer and looping** piano artist. He entertains, puppets to hand, to expound on secret wisdoms contained in the songs.
Paul started life as a musician playing in Princes square, an up-market shopping center in Glasgow Scotland, as well as local piano bars, he then got to cover for a friend Danny Thompson at Mickeys Pizza in Denmark. From there he went on to piano bars in ski resorts in Klosters and St. Moritz, Switzerland. Followed by residencies in two London West End hotels, before coming to the US.
He has performed throughout the U.S. touring as a soloist.

*WHY BABY TOSH
On Friday afternoons in Glasgow Paul heard the name “Baby Tosh” from his fathers friend Gordon Templeman, a garage owner who called Pauls dad Mori Tosh at “Choir practice” (an excuse for a bunch of guys to get together for a booze up on the way home from work). As a wee lad Pauls dad would pick him up from school and bring him along.
And Baby Tosh is also usually playing a Baby Grand.
**WHAT IS LIVE LOOPING
With a miked up piano while playing a passage of music, Paul press’s a pedal on the floor to take it into the “Roland RC 300” loop pedal. Which then plays it back, and now as if four hands on one piano Paul can layer another passage against his playing that he just did.
