Havasu Creek November 2016

A quick visit to explore the Havasu Creek confluence with the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. Our self support kayak crew stopped here briefly to check out the creek. Wish we could've stayed longer and explored a lot more! Paddling 226 miles over 12 days in November (less daylight) while trying to stay ahead of a 38,000 cfs "High Flow Event" coming up behind us left little time to fool around - but we did okay. This place was beautiful and I will return.
