That's something I really appreciate too with the creators is that they've given a lot of screen time to Butters. I know they attempted to make Butters replace Kenny for a while there but I still like that Butters has become more of a dynamic character and has kind of become an unofficial member for the main cast. The fact that Butters is actively involved in a lot of plots, usually as Cartman's sidekick or lackey, shows you that Matt and Trey really like him as a character.
@BluStarGalaxy Жыл бұрын
Easily the best episode of the season so far. They attacked both sides of the aisle and it was great. I love that Butters is more assertive and calls cartman out more than he has in the past. He still gets taken advantage of by him because he tries to make people happy.
@lawrencefrost9063 Жыл бұрын
Nah, this was the weakest so far. And it's still good.
@paullangland6877 Жыл бұрын
@@lawrencefrost9063 I disagree, while this episode looks way too tame on the surface, for those of us who are in Butters' shoes could relate. Plus all the subtle jabs at things like Mental Health days or stuff like Bare Minimum Mondays that look to justify the lazy habits of the lazy employees. It's very clever. Also it addresses issues like fast food places still paying minimum while being short staffed at the same time. Like the OP says, they attacked both sides of the aisle very well.

@@paullangland6877 Mental Health days are important and should be taken seriously. And as for bare minimum mondays, maybe employers should pay us more. Why go above and beyond and do more than what's expected for no additional pay. This isn't about occasionally give a helping hand. This is about the bosses gradually adding more and more responsibility for no additional compensation
