We’re doing a 3 week California road trip in May next year. Flying into San Francisco & then driving the Pacific Coast Highway all the way down to San Diego before flying home from LAX. Will be stopping off at loads of places on the way & will definitely be doing a couple of days at Disneyland & DCA - I’m so excited as it’s our bucket list trip 🙌🏼💕 Can’t wait to watch yours guys 😎

You are going to Epernay. Moet! I wish Pol Rodger did tours for the public. Tattinger's caves are so historical. The monks built them but they were used for a hospital during the first WW. The stone is soft so the soldiers carved into the walls. If you get a chance do Reims also. The Tattinger's tour was under 30 and my favourite. There is a cathedral close to them that is so beautiful. St Remi Basilica. Better than The Catherdral there. You can park and walk. Epernay and Reims are close and do visit a cemetery from the war. There are many in that area. Commonwealth cemeteries are so moving and we always stop and pay our respect.

Just got back from a 3 week California road trip, drove down the pch. Stayed at Sea otter inn in Cambria, really nice place if they have availability, wall across to the beach and a picnic basket delivered for breakfast. Stop at Nepanthe restaurant on the way too. Hiked the hollywood sign, amazing views.

I used to be an over the road truck driver and really miss traveling. The U.S. has so much to see and do in every state. Can't wait to watch your vlogs.

I live across the Bay from San Francisco - so many things/places to see driving up the PCH (son went to colleges in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Malibu). It will take you longer than you think so glad you have an overnight stop planned. Maybe need another one 😁. Folks have already mentioned some great places but I only saw one mention of Nepenthe. It is a restaurant built on an outcrop high above the Pacific in Big Sur, built by the Fassett family in the 40s. If you have heard of Kaffe Fassett who is now based in London, it was his parents. Family still own it. If you have time, between Carmel and Pacific Grove is “17 mile drive” which hugs the coast driving past Pebble Beach golf coarse and some amazing $$$$$ homes. Lots of spots to park the car and view the waves hitting the rocks. BTW the row of houses beside Alamo Square Park are called The Painted Ladies.

I’ve been to San Francisco, though it was over 30 years ago, but I do remember going to Ghirardelli Square and visiting their chocolate shop. It is a fascinating city, which I personally liked more than I liked Los Angeles.

In San Luis Obispo,it would be nice for you to take a tour of Hearst Castle and also check out Madonna Inn. I'm living in Arizona and The Grand Canyon is breathtaking. Enjoy the United States. It will be a joy to watch these vlogs coming up!

If you're in the area in California and doing the Pacific Coast Highway go to Carmel. It's a beautiful town and you'll love eating at The Hogs Breath Restaurant (eaten here and can highly recommend) Clint Eastwood used to own it when we were there. But there is another restaurant in Carmel that he currently owns called the Mission Ranch Restaurant.

Oh gosh I can’t wait till you go to Anna Maria Island ……so beautiful…… does your friend that lives there have their own golf cart? If she doesn’t you should check into renting went out so many people use golf carts around that island to get around… It’s so gorgeous especially the sunrises and sunsets😍😍

If your heading to Fisherman’s Wharf look for Boudin’s their clam chowder is yum it’s in a sourdough bowl. Visit the Haight Ashbury neighbourhood to see all the hippie influences and the shops are interesting too. Sausalito is a good place to visit just outside San Francisco you see all the house boats. I know you didn’t want to do tourist things but Murr Woods is a lovely bit of peace with nice walks. If you watched the tv series Big little lies go to Monterey just off pacific highway. You can also see the sea otters in the bay. We went on a boat in Monterey to see the whales. As I said in last comment check out Madonna Inn and it’s unique rooms.

Lancaster winery has the most beautiful (Healdsburg, CA). Far Niente is gorgeous as well. The Korbel champagne vineyard has a fun tour.

There is a scarey walk in Zion National park not far from Vegas called Angels Landing which Andy did that you could do. Shame you not doing Monument Valley as that was my fav but Brice Canyon cool

Been to Bodie. Very much worth the stop. I did the drive from the Sequoias to Yosemite then to Mammoth. Be prepared for extreme weather changes. I am not sure when you guys are planning but I did it in July. It was about 95 degrees (F) in the valley of Yosemite. We hit a massive thunderstorm in Tuolumne, that turned into hail. Then it was about 35 degrees (F) when we exited at Tioga pass. So just be prepared. Could even snow. Same with Bodie. Have warm jackets in case it's a cold day.

I make a pasta bake low calorie. I don't use a prepare sauce, I use a tin of chopped tomatoes add some parsley and some dill. For the cheesiness I put in 6 laughing cow light triangles. Also I would only use one saucepan, so I would cook the pasta first and then put in in the dish then fry the onions nd sausages add the Tom's and cheese an then chuck the pasta in the saucepan and transfer to the dish. Just saves on washing up or dishwasher space x

We also visited Fresno as I liked an mix of seeing snow also recommend Death Valley as well to visit and sequoia national park as well and drive the big Sur for an amazing costal route drive up to San Francisco and also stop by Monterey and do an cruise in an rent a boat 🛶

We did a American road trip in January, really recommend getting the America the beautiful pass! Gets you into all the national parks in America for $80 for the year (its $35 just for Grand Canyon for example) so if you’re at least 2/3 national parks it’s definitely worth it! You can just pick it up at the entrance to your first park 😊

I have lost over 40 pounds on the Intermitent diet and can highly reccomend it. It takes a few months before the pounds really start coming off, but well worth the effort.

If you are going up the CA coast you need to stop in Fort Bragg and see Sea Glass beach! It’s beautiful. Look it up online and see if it intrigues you. Also the beautiful red wood Forrest.

I have been on an road trip through California 3 times and we visited Yosemite national park must see place to visit and went through the mountains and recommend visiting Santa Barbara is beautiful place to visit lovely town and highly recommended

Make reservations and have lunch at the CIA, It was the old Christan Brothers winery and now is the Culinary Institute and they have a farm and dairy. We asked to sit at the bar and watch them cook. Nick would love watching these chefs. That is the Greystone location but they now have a downtown Napa location. Copia. I want to go back now.

Did a road trip about 25yrs ago from San Francisco to Los Angeles then to Vegas then to mammoth mountain then back to San Francisco carmel is a nice place to go clint eastwood use to be the mayor of cours you must go to naper wine vally. Mammoth mountain is a Ski Resort you golfrom the desert of Vegas and then the ski resort. In LA we stoped near the famous Chinese theatre omg it was so steedy lol it wasn't a kind of place you would want to go again lol just rememberd saw a bear walking down the road in mammoth mountain

Yes, feed a cold.Never had a fever with it.But some people do. Hopefully you get over it in less than a month. Vitamin C, zinc, help. Orange or Mango helps a lot.

Wipe counters and stuff used down with a Sanitizing spray, washed all bedding and wiped everything continuously, so didn't spread to Family, who did not have it.

Girhadelli in San Francisco! Alkatraz. We stayed in the Charlotte motor inn on Lombard street, was very nice and came with free parking which is a bonus for expensive San Fran! We also did a hot air balloon ride over Napa valley where the hubby proposed! If you are driving on the coast road from Death Valley towards San Francisco there are lots of spots to stop and see seals etc in there natural environment. Whale watching in Monterey was nice but would recommend sickness tablets!

I flew into LA at 9 pm at night I was up 8:00 for Disney all day till 12 am .I then share the driving from LA to San Francisco it was 8 hours Plus.fab

Did you know that unlike wdw Paris has a reserve list.. I did the same we go this weekend and I forgot to reserve parks realised about 2 weeks ago and t I found a reserve list. Now I have park reservations :) after about 2 days got an email to say I have a reservation :)

I did intermittent fasting and lost 22 lbs in 2 months and that was mostly eating twice in a 6 hour window but always having dessert. I tried to eat more on the 2nd meal as it was 18 hours till my next meal. Best diet ever.

Hey, guys! Haven’t checked in with you in awhile. I moved back to Florida recently after 10 years away. Maybe I’ll get the chance to see you sometime.😊 FYI, as a health inspector, and vaccinated and boosted, I’ve been free from COVID since the beginning. And I was doing the inspections for the pandemic. As soon as they removed the mask restriction at the airports in May, my son flew, and brought us COVID. It took only 2 days to get symptoms, but another day to test positive. ☹️ Stay healthy!

If you have a package or dated tickets, its fine. But annual Passes need to book dates to visit 😀 It started after covid so they'll know how many visitors are in the parks.

Nicky does it and he's lost loads. It really works for him. We prefer calorie counting as that works for us. Nick didn't last long with the fast. As with all diets.... Please look into them and do your research before trying any and speak to your Dr if you need to. Don't go by our advice as everyone is different and you have to find what works safely for yourself👍👍
