Have TaylorMade Made The PERFECT Players' Irons?! | TaylorMade P7CB & P770 iron review

How do the brand-new TaylorMade P7CB and P770 irons perform? I got my hands on both sets of new players' irons to see how they perform out on the golf course.
In this video, I play nine holes at Alwoodley Golf Club to see if I can break par using just a set of irons. I also stop for head-to-head challenges on Trackman, including putting the P7CB against the old P7MC and the new P770 against its predecessor.

Just got fitted and purchased the 770 . Like you say Hannah important to get a proper fitting . Even the difference a shaft can make is massive . I eventually went with the 770!in a KBS tour lite shaft . I previously gamed the neo 950 gh shaft in my mizunos . Similar type shaft but the KBS worked better for me in the 770 head . Love the channel and keep the great content coming ..cheers

This was just the comparison video I was looking for. I got fitted yesterday for CB / 770 combo and went 5-gap CB and 4 in 770 with lie adjusted 1 degree weaker to help with the gapping. The CB do feel amazing and I can’t wait for them to arrive. Excellent video…you have gained a new subscriber 👏🏼

Enjoyed the review. Issue with fitting is that this is mostly indoors so seeing the flight and turf interaction can only happen on the course. I am not surprised you hit the CB higher than the P770. Same for me with the 620 CB over the AP3. Love the CB and as someone playing links courses and not always hitting the fairway, turf interaction is superb with the CB.

I just replaced my P770's with some Mizuno 245's and it was a tough choice... P770's are quality for sure... Great Video Hannah!!!

I really love your videos. I pick up a lot more nuggets of information from you. I wish you would do a series of teaching videos for beginners. A sort of golf for dummies. So many other you tubers tell you what to do but don’t explain why you need to do it or what happens if you don’t do things correctly. I think you would be really good at explaining all the complexities of the golf swing.

Excellent review. 770 soles scare me coming from MP18’s. (Turf interaction) 5-P in cb’s and maybe then brain freeze on which 4iron. TM nailed these sets. Thanks

Great review. I'm a 6.4 index and currently game 2021 P790. I've been looking to change to something a bit less prone to a rocket ball for a while as I don't struggle with speed (111/112mph driver). Have considered a blade combo but nervous about the effect off mis-hits. Looks like I might have found my new set in a P7CB/P770 combo 🎉

Hello there Hannah. You mentioned suggestions for future videos we might like to see. Well, after watching another KZbin channel it appears that the only ball that is today conforming to the forthcoming ball rollback from Acushnet (Titleist) stable is the Pinnacle Soft ball (my personal go to. Mind you I'm off 16!!!) Maybe a comparison to your go to ball and your thoughts as to what things will be like around the corner in the not too distant future.

@@atamagashock CB are definitely way more forgiving and longer than the previous MCs so you can bring them a bit higher up the set if you want to!
