My mom died suddenly of a brain aneurysm so you have my utmost sympathy. It’s a huge shock but there is some comfort in knowing that they didn’t suffer for a long time. There was one gift my mom left me with. 12 years of just my dad and I. I was always close with both of them but it was usually my mom who was in on the day to day “stuff”. After her death my dad and I became very close. He recently passed at the age of 95. I cherished every day with him. I’m so happy that your mom will be near you. It’s a different dynamic, but such a fulfilling one. Enjoy this new relationship with your mom. It will be a different world for her but everything I have learned about you and Omar, you will embrace this with open arms and the biggest hearts🥰

Our sincere condolences my friend I too lost my mother 2 yrs ago we were very close I was an only child , the way I dealt with grief was actually beautiful , I was very sad knowing I would never see her again but the love she had for me was incredible and the wonderful life she had given me was magnificent and so every time I think of her or my family does it’s with very lovely thoughts and we feel so proud to of had her in our life just a pure loving feeling and this wonderful peaceful feeling too I think the way you speak of your dad you might feel the same as I do , can’t wait to see you back in your happy place (Portugal) in March best wishes 🇨🇦🇵🇹

i cant imagine how difficult it is to navigate this kind of grief and the accompanying life turmoil in this kind of public setting and I am glad you felt able to take the time needed to regroup and stabilize. I truly felt for you as I lost my sister suddenly November 30 just over a year ago. I'm glad you are coping and doing it as privately as you feel you need to and will be happy to see you back with videos only when you are ready.

Dearest Andrea and family, thank you for the lovely video, and good to see you all. Once more accept my condolences over the passing of your dad. As you know, I had an umbilical connection with my dearest father, and he passed way at 52. My life has never been the same since, however, 1yr b4 that, one of his younger brother,s (10 total) my dearest uncle Amandio passed away at 42 yrs old, from a brain aneurysm leaving behind a grieving wife and child daughter. The pain of these losses was cruel & unrelenting to us, but mostly to wife and daughter. It feel unreal, but keeping busy and the passing of time eventually dulls the pain, but the void will 4 ever be there. Your daddy was an amazing human being, and would want only to see you move on and live life to the fullest. He left you, your mother and sister a wonderful legacy an example in life and dedication. You, we must carry it forward and move on, painful as it is. You are carrying on Andrea, and your dad's spirit us is so proud and watching over you. Dealing with life's end is gut wrenching and unnatural to me, so I am happy you will soon be change of scenery here in 🇵🇹, despite the logistic's nightmare. We will welcome all with open arms sharing your grief and tears, and hoping we can help you in our little way, carry on with life and be happy again. Miss you Andrea and your contagious smile. M, Thank you so much for your lovely words. It truly means so much to me. I really felt like being honest because it would also help be free. Grief is human and human connection is so important, specially today with the world as it is. Death really changes us and I feel this will forever mark me. In many ways it has made me realise how fragile life is and how beautiful, meaningful and perfect it also is. I have kept busy everyday because it allows me not to think. So editing videos have been a real blessing for me, pouring all my energy into it and hopefully you guys enjoy what’s coming next. Busy so I can find meaning to it all which, will take years. Definitely see if you can find it. I have read it by pieces and really thought about the message. There is so much to digest from it but it is wonderfully written by someone who is an expert on grief and later on experienced grief himself by loosing his son. Also, there is a documentary on Netflix all about therapy which, I think sometimes, when we experience such traumatic events, we need someone to give us a hand. I am thinking about therapy as well for later. The documentary is called Stutz and it talks about how to create a mindset when we feel depressed. Sending you a massive hug M.

You have been super busy…yes you have to earn money to finance Portugal home that is super important we just miss you ❤I totally understand losing your father as I lost mine wen I was in my 20’s and had my son and found it hard to accept he had passed…I was very angry he died on me…🤷‍♀️ doesn’t make sense but we all grieve in different ways darling…your dad sound like s lovely man…just know we love you ❤

I am so so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Although it doesn't feel like it at the time, grief is a healing process and you sound like you're adjusting to your sad loss in a very good way. The day before I turned sixty, a few years ago now, my dad died suddenly in my arms while I was visiting him in hospital. He was hoping to be home for Christmas as his stats had improved so it was an awful shock. I didn't let myself grieve for six months, I felt so numb but once the process started I slowly began to feel it's benefit. I read somewhere that grief is love with nowhere to go. That's what it felt like for me. Now my love goes into the great memories I have of my dad and all he thought me. Your dad sounds very much like mine. Thank you for sharing and I wish a very good and peaceful 2023 to you and your family.

It will come to a time where does memories stay in the past and what’s brought forward are the happy memories from childhood to the lasts gorgeous ones we were lucky to have.
