Congrats. Got a 2021, 25000 km now. Still the best bike I ever had. Still makes me smile

Thank you. It's an amazing bike and I'm absolutely loving it. True what you say about making you smile. It does that every time you get on it. No matter how long the ride or the terrain, it handles it with ease. 👍

My initial thought was... another 1300GS, but you surprised me. Welcome to the club LOL

Haha no I'm not quite there yet with the GS. It's not a bad looker but much prefer something that looks a bit more aggressive. Thank you for watching. 👌

How did you like multistrada and what made you not get it? Seriously considering it vs 1290s but I know ktms 1190/1290 inside and out so well after owning 1190 for awhile. -1190S

Evening mate and thankyou for the watch. Seriously the only thing that really put me off a multistrada was the price. For a basic model it was still a few 1000 more expensive than the KTM. I also have a few mates who work for KTM in Austria who help with persuasion 😂. Personally in my opinion I would stick with KTM if that's what you know as I don't really see much difference between the 2 of them to be fair. Both similar power and I based my decision around that as well. Let me know how you get on 👍

Not a single mention of the 6 times Dakar winners Honda in the optional bikes 😭

I can o ly apologise for this. I've had some stick of a good friend of mine who also said what about the africa? Of which he owns. Don't get me wrong they are an awesome bike and never go wrong so would have been a good option. We used to have a main honda dealer quite close to us as well but have since moved further out to be a mega store. The new one looks awesome though as well after seeing it at this year's ABR festival. 👍

Bloody hell my friend. Have you not done any research. Its a well known fact that the 1190 is chewing up camshafts for breakfast at about 6-to 8 thousand miles. The experts will tell you its since they started building them in the Chinese CF Moto factory and not Austria. When running they are wonderful but KTM have no idea whats wrong and i have got 2 freinds that have melted camshafts and the Factory have instructed dealers not to do any warranty work.

Hi mate thanks for watching. I'm assuming this issue could have been resolved on the 1290? I've not heard of any reviews about bad cams on these. Luckily on the LC8 it will be a fairly easy job to solve if you know a bit about engines. Are you not a fan of KTM now? 😔

@@AdvRiderUK I would like to be, they have always been stunning to look at. Trouble is the 790 has the same problems along with lots of electrical gremlins. Anyway i wish you well and all the luck in the world that you have a good one. Dale.

@@dalechamberlain7767I thought the camshaft issues are on the 790/890 models.....

@@mrnoisy4883 My information and my couple of friends with dead bikes seem to be all the chinese built engines and as i think i have said before KTM are doing nothing about it. Friend 1 off the road now 7 months and under warranty. freind 2 off the road 8 months and just out of warranty has not got a clue what to do. to do. Freind 2 also has had massive engine management issues . Been reset so far 9 times by dealer and dealer is now out of idea's because KTM say no updates are available. Dale

@@dalechamberlain7767 instead of saying friend 1 2, how about listing exactly what bike they have and exactly the specific issues their bike has? The vtwin 1190 1290 engines are solid motors. The 790 890 has camshaft issues. -22,000mile 14 1190.
