Similar to Scarpa Dragos? I have dragos but I want something different, a little bit better on edging, i suppose these are a bit bad for edging like the dragos are.

how is the smearing compared to the Drago?

It's worse when really downsized compared to a really down sized drago, also it's kinda awkward to smear at first because the rubber at the very front is a lot thicker so it can actually be hard to get a lot of surface area when smearing, I prefer them when it's almost completely worn through at the toe which makes them probably the best smearing shoe but you won't be able to stand on an edge without really strong feet

Bit late but how much did you downsize I tried on 3 sizes down and it felt good.

I got mine 3.5 sizes down and they were very tight and they can stretch as much as you need them to but they won't stretch much once they reach the ideal size just make sure you don't downsize to a point where you lose a lot of smearing ability

You are gonna want to downsize them till your toes are pretty curled so your feet can fill out the high volume toe box but don't go so far to where you can't smear effectively, I sized mine down by 3.5 sizes so the heel would fit and they Will just keep stretching until they fit you but it will be a painful process if you go excessively small and they stop stretching once they reach a size that your foot is no longer pressing it out super hard.
