I can honestly say that I walked away immediately and called the cops as I was leaving. There were other adults around while I was being abused and none of them did anything. The cops don't care I'm speaking of the ones that were handling my case at the time. I waited two hours only for them to B.S. me. Of course the guy was blaming it on drinking he also was trying to make me feel low for calling the cops on him and then he was asking me what did I tell them I refused to tell him anything and course he went into this whole I love you crap. I found out later that he has a history of doing this to other women. I have a strong feeling he is still doing this to other women still. Men who do this have a lot of issues that they are dealing with. Unfortunately they take it out on there partner rather than getting professional help.
