those ducts were put in place as an air intake for a paxton super charger which mr norm offered on his demon. when they received the car it was considered too complicated to use them so his team elected to go the easy route but tony was correct if you look at any orignal GSS demon you will see they installed the rubber grommets to hook into the paxton but never used them
