Schwinn's "Violet HA" is one of the craziest paints I've ever seen. Under some lighting conditions it can look purple, under others it can look maroon, and under others it can look bright pink! ...and If worn and aged enough, it can just look like a hard maroon under any lighting. I like it, but I wish they would have stuck with the original "purple opal," that they only used in '63 & '64(?). I've got a few 'Rays. Where do you score your parts, Ebay?

Normally I’m not much of a fan of shades of purple but this is such a unique color as you described it I can’t help but to appreciate how beautiful it is! The parts I needed came from eBay and Facebook groups. Koolestuff is helpful also.

I just don't remember that muskidine concord on a stingray..The Krates had a grabber grape at the close of production but ill be damned if I ever saw it on a standard Ray. Got any Schwinn Bmx'ers stashed away?Sure would like to grab a couple or 5..
