If it was a 1983 it would have been a direct drive model not a belt drive .

Very nice find! The newer machines will never top this model in performance at all. Imagine if they made a modern HE wahing machine with the surgilator agitator but with the modern belt drive crap. I would laugh.

It's a 1983, they didn't start making those until 1983. It's also missing a lint filter for the lint.

It’s a 1983, as that’s around the time the thin twin was introduced. I think 81 was its launch? I could be wrong😊

You are correct, I wasn't sure if it was 73 or 83 but did some digging and it is an 83. these were launched in 1983, and changed to the direct drive style in 1986. the driveline stayed the same until 2017 after that

Whirlpool Duet HT. Some electrical issue I couldn't figure out, I parted it out earlier today. I had a machine with a bad spider arm and used the drum for that
