In Houston many people drive thru and walk around the River Oaks neighborhood. The Mansions are imposing but turn into a lively sight during the holidays.

In Calgary the Zoo lights but you have to pay. But there is a little public golf course with lights and that one is free. Plus the up scale neighbourhoods always put on a good display of animated lights.

I’m from Mexico but I am living right now in Waterloo, Ontario, and I just realized about an interesting difference between both countries, We (Mexicans) rather use white lights than the ones with different colours, you can’t see a lot of houses wearing different colours Christmas lights in Mexico... in our Family we used to decorate our house using a lot of Christmas lights, but only the white ones, Now I’m living in Canada, so I can’t afford it because the electricity bill is so expensive hahaha I really miss that.

I have been to Canada ONCE, by car, when my brother and I visited a college for him in Ellendale, ND. After that I convinced him to keep driving north. We stayed in Winnipeg only one day & one night. It was -23º

Christmas hpuses in Canada are OMG WOOW, we have not that Xmas decor in the houses in Mexico is different and more about street decor and insude if the houses. I was amazed first time I see the Xmas decor here in Vancouver 😍

First of all, I love your editing! OK, man those are some festive houses! I feel like my house is so boring now. I have seen a few festive ones around my area. There's one house which has a projector on it that has moving snowmen, reindeer and santas dashing about. The house at 8:24 is my favourite! In Brisbane they have big competitions for Christmas lights so much so that the bus companies do tours around the areas that get into the Christmas lights. I don’t really do it mainly because I can’t be trusted lighting the menorah at Hanukkah 😂
