Thanks for sharing. Keep them coming. I think the key is finding peace at the bottom of the valley near the creek. Water is the key to life. Stand tall in the valley, and be humble on the mountain. Anyways, I'll be thinking about your video for awhile. Stay strong, we all suffer the pain of no longer riding at some point. It never goes away, I haven't been on a dirt bike in almost 40 years. David, I don’t know your situation so I may be talking out of turn, but what I would do in your situation is find a cause you believe in and offer to become a volunteer for your cause. It will open you up to be around like minded people and at the same time helping people less fortunate than yourself. No matter how low we feel we are, there is always someone in a much worse situation than our own.

I enjoy your videos. You are a true warrior. I have visited at a retirement home, old family members. Most noticeable are they whom have stopped being physically active, mentally and socially active. Given a lack of the stimulus, to be constantly striving, to battle against mediocrity, to not be the best that they can be, they crumble inwards, literally. It is sad to see. To fight the good battle , to sometimes lose but always get up a better person. It is in the battle of life that we are at the very best that we can be.

Maybe This is when a persons soul feels some kind of gap he cannot identify, with that coming to mind that there must be more than this world.that this world is perfect but also very limited.and wants to keep on but reality says something else..as long as that unidentifiable gap is there and allowed to be there, than this circle lap from top to deep remains unbroken.maybe it would be very profitable when a person, rich or poor, knows the ultimate reason of his existence.

Watched a cartoon called Soul. That made me think of the little things in life we’ve done that add up to our sum. Hell I’m 51 a lineman motorcycle enthusiast wannabe (wanted to be musician) boring ass dad husband son uncle etc…. I went through some shit in 08 that i couldn’t escape. I literally had to deal with it every day. I went to a family Councelor and he was like what are we going to do?? How can you get through this. He was stumped. I sure the hell was in a gnarly place. All of the things and chases didn’t mean shit. So i one foot in front of the othered that shit. And one day we just came to the thought. I’m a good guy. I’m good enough. I fail i fall i run in circles sometimes but i one foot in front of the other that shit. I try and live my life as don’t let anyone out work me don’t make anyone have pick up my slack and give an honest day. If i put my hands on it do it right. I listen as i want to be heard. I try to be the best father husband son person i can be knowing that I’m human and will fail but i give it all that i have and that’s enough. I believe in God, Love and i know the sun will come up tomorrow with or without me. Your little things in life are amazing to someone. Keep one foot in front of the other Ryan. This worlds brighter with you in it. Believe it. Be a good dude be you. Have a blessed day!

Well to me hard work does pay off, n it's Always work before play..life? Life is about becoming more than what we are.Fact. and time is all that we have. Experience is key..there is nothing wrong with growing, learning, knowing or being wrong. I feel being wrong should be celebrated, because you now have the opportunity to be right. It's mind over matter ,what you think about your bring about. Our thoughts create our reality. WELL BEING NEVER CAME THROUGH HARD WORK

I know exactly what you’re talking about I think only people who are really trying to figure out who they are and how to really be present in the moment in life reach that point And as for time I don’t know when it happened sometime over the last few years it finally hit me and it hit me hard in my life is passing by so fast and I’m never going to get a chance do you have the things I was planning. Seems like yesterday I was in my 20s and now I’m in my 50s before I know it I’ll be dead so I don’t have time to waste I have learned that my happiness starts at the moment I open my eyes every day and for some reason I wake up ready to fight this world and I have learned to take that first hour of the day and put a routine together that puts me in a good mood before I step out into this world and it has made all the difference in my life It’s a balancing act so it’s not something that I have that other people don’t have it for the first time in my life I have the best balance I’ve ever had and I know I wear a smile more than I ever have in my life and for that I am beyond appreciative Keep crushing it rhino

Agreed. I've lived the life of chasing that rabbit of what others see and what I thought defined success. Now it's about doing, helping others, becoming a better person. Bikes will always be a huge part of life and sharing great experiences, but it's the people and those interactions and experiences that money can't buy. Thankfully, I'm at a point I can "walk away" from this dog race (chasing the rabbit) not rich or well off, but enough for a simple roof over my head, a tank of premix (whenever I want) and the company of friends and animals. Going to go find my inner peace. Thank you for your insight.

Look at a oak tree. Can you draw it? Could you get close to a resemblance? Unless you are a practiced artist you will struggle with this.. So just remember there is a ALL CREATOR. You cant draw a oak tree but he designed it from the tip of the leaf to the bottom of the root. Amazing oak trees are. More amazing is GOD . You are at that stage were it would be very beneficial to have a relationship with GOD. I promise you will never be alone even if you feel a little alone. He's got you so you can SEND IT. I'm not the type of person to go around trying to save people. I generally don't give a shit. I have been watching you ride since I started racing. I have much love for my fellow riders. We all managed to find that one thing that would overcome so we could make it to the next level. Maybe this means nothing to you but I was led so I'm sending it. Have a Happy NEW DAY! everyday. You’ve chased life harder than anyone you know? Really? Do you feel as though you have more tenacity than me? Sometimes we THINK we are stronger mentally and physically than the next guy but it’s just an illusion of that giant ego on our shoulder. I do like hearing what Ryan has to say but when he constantly puts himself above all others saying “I did/do this better than anyone else” it turns me off and actually makes me feel sorry for him. Wish him luck in his journey of becoming humble and comfortable in his own skin.

Here is the deal on this in my opinion. Ryan can only speak on his own experiences and those of those he knows first hand. I don’t take his comments in the same literal sense that you appear to be doing. When you look at them through his own eyes, I believe he’s probably accurate. Another way to look at this, Ryan has a 1 track mind so to speak, but most people are so unfocused very few people focus on one singular goal.

I'm in that place right now. Struggling with addiction, been in and out of hospital and jail, lost my job and the woman and kids that I love more than anything in the entire world. Around this time of year makes it even harder. Spent the holiday completely alone..I literally am the only thing I have in life right now. All I know is that I have a lot of hard work ahead of me to get back to being even remotely close to where I want to be in life.

I’m 39 from Cali, still struggling with my heroin addiction (on subs now) and lost my fiancé due to it last year. I WILL get through this to a better place and you will to. Put your head down and grind it out man. Can’t wait to read your comment in a few months/years where you’re doing great 🤙🏻

Start by changing your name to something other than "funky balls". Also, I'm assuming you ride motocross or used to ride, so get back into it. Even if you go buy a cheap 1500 dollar 125. Make a program/routine for yourself that involves riding daily and eating better. All the other pieces will fall into place once you have a base. I know this is true because I was once in a bad place too. I'm 34 now and have been riding motocross since 4. I quit riding for 3 years after failing out of college and got hooked on oxys. Finally realized how bad off I was and changed everything immediately. Went and bought a new bike and started riding again. Nothing can replace the feeling of riding. It's the most therapeutic thing in my life. I know you can do it too my friend. I know I'm just a random comment on KZbin but I genuinely hope you take this to heart and get back to kicking ass! Much love brother

Ask the lord Jesus christ to come into your life, only he can change a man's heart, trust in him and repent of your sins daily, pray and say lord I give you my struggles, give it all to him, he can shoulder your burdens, thank him for your blessings. God loves your man.
