Somebody has to make the things riders use and those things cost money to produce. And the folks producing those things are taking a huge financial risk. It’s totally understandable that they make a profit. When they get big, they give back in the form of sponsorship and contingencies. I’ve been following motocross for 55 years and pro riders are doing better than ever financially, and fewer people are riding motocross than in the past. Interesting.

Last time i checked, most fast guys are in free boots , gear , helmets etc. so its not like me when i go racing, riding. I pay for everything. But yes it should be better for the high risk involved.

Yea 11 grand for a bike that costs 4 grand to rebuild in a year if you ride it hard. Thats a little bit of a barrier to entry for most people.

It's not the government. People build houses, do not check where, move there, are surprised there is noise. They complain, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Try to make a new track, impossible - usually noise and dust. Other people have little understanding for us, although partly because there is so many loud haters, but it is clear: If you want to live with them, you either ride a quiet bike or don't ride at all. I don't understand the complaint about prices. Gas bikes are expensive too, 10k EUR is not an exception, electric cost how much more? 2k?

Yeah for the Japanese Brands Off Road/Motorcycles is a Small portion of their Sales that’s why you don’t see huge changes and shifts like KTM. KTM needs to figure this out I love my TBI Two Stroke and what they do for Motorcycle development and Tech is a lot more than the Japanese will ever.

Agreed 100% I grew up racing 2 strokes at Barona Oaks. The smell of the premix and the sound of the pros shredding! The sound is what makes our sport just 1 part of the enjoyment! 👍🔥🥳✊️

I like Motocross and all, but the engines create a lot of damage to the environment. CO2 Greenhouse Gas is going to melt everything. So, at least in California, I think that both SX and MX will be All Electric. I believe that Kamila Harris will be Governor soon so these changes will happen rather quickly. To compensate for this though, at least the SX and MX riders, including Ryan "Know it All" Hughes, can enjoy free Tampons in the pits.

I was a Ryno fan, but how ignorant is he to assume that everyone is in motocross to make money? THAT'S ignorant and dumb

One reason i love my local track is that it's not privately owned by an individual or business. It's essentially owned equally by the members. Theres a pres, treasurer, etc, and also a group that runs motocross and one that runs hillclimbs. Changes, maintenance, upgrades and whatnot aren't left to one person for the decisions. People actually show up for workdays to handle everything. I also love it because it's 2 miles down a rural road from our shop so i got to ride down to practice as a kid even if nobody was home to haul my bikes down. 😅

When I used to race I new I wasn’t going to be a pro rider I did it for the buzz I loved it that feeling you get from grabbing the hole shot and winning it gets harder as you climb through the ranks but it was worth it age is not on my side now but I’d do it all again 😊

To each their own. Funny the way he's talking, is he trying to discourage others. Talk about throwing away the farm. Yet its ok for him to teach orhers to get paralyzed. Then he talks about driving like a mad man on the road. I respect him but stay off the pod cast.

Don't always agree with Rhyno! but on this for once bang on as for Husky release well we know one of the key reasons for the financial issue with the PMG group is buying and acquisition of E bikes companies and technology! As for more land and sound being a benefit that is the biggest Bull S**t spread by the EV sellouts and EV disciples! It wont happen and that lie is the death of dirtbikes as we know it.. EV is good for Electric trains and trams like it always has been before they were scuttled for profits decades ago, as a commuter solution in city centers light rail inter city rail is and always was smart, but it wasn't in business interests or central or local government agenda's plain and simple! If they wanted to save the planet because of global warming caused by emissions, then they would tax and hold accountable those who really emit the biggest threats to humanity and nature, but they don't they give them ax breaks if they even pay tax to begin with! another lie. They would also provide free hubs on outer city carparks for gas powered vehicles where you'd pickup a EV shopping basket car to go into the city! Not 0-3 second 60 mph Teslas and fckn Cybertrucks and other BS to compare whose dong is bigger and why EV beats ICE!! We don't need more power we need less and more riding areas, again nothing to do with noise and bikes, but greedy developers and corrupt local and central bodies. We have the ability to house and feed everyone in the world times over we don't, because War is profitable so is death drugs pedaled by pharma and now EV is the new drug, but failing! Maybe there is hope! We all say Merry Xmas and then try to kill each other at supermarkets, malls and roads leading up to Xmas and start over again on the 26th! That's not conspiracy that's just facts look around to is everywhere!

In 1975 I was busing tables at Red Lobster to help pay for my motocross obsession. A customer was giving me career advice. He said, “You know who the highest paid people are?” I had no idea. He said, “Salesman…..everything is sold….everything in this building had a salesman behind it”. Oh, the guy followed up with: “If you wear a uniform or a name tag….youll never be rich” LOL!! I ended up being a pilot. I wear a uniform and a name tag to work everyday. So, his adice and insights werent that accurate.

So in one breathe, there’s too many coaches and people are being priced out for no profit, in the next breathe riders don’t get health insurance or paid enough. Is this a pitch? So riders don’t get paid enough? Ok, then I guess do something else. What’s the point. Most people don’t get paid enough for their work.

The riders do it because I love it, if they feel like they're not being treated properly they could just quit. I mean that's the way things are supposed to be now the one thing that I really would like to see is they get a blanket insurance policy professionally could have insurance but it should not be mandatory

If they could come out with a high performance e-moto that cost $5-7K, the blenders might become very popular. You might even see a few more moto track locations pop up because of the lack of noise.
