Okay so I just read the manga, and I think Scotty Karate might be related to Nobu himself. (part 27 spoilers ahead) Both of them could defeat booger. Both of them talked down Zipit. If we look at the backstory of Nobu, we learn that both of them started off incredibly weak. I honestly can't wait to see how powerful they make Scotty Karate, especially since the anime is making him out to be a joke character. I predict he'll fill the role of Sensei Nobu, after his tragic death of being eaten by ducks.

Seeing Tommy Nitro again brought back so many memories. I remember my mother got this for me on clearance alongside "Bella Dancerella" for my sister. We would each take turns to watch and perform with the DVD and get really invested in the action. Also people use the term shotokan in fighting games to describe characters similar to ryu. So shotokan is just kinda ryus thing even if he actually doesn't even use it.

I used to take taekwondo lessons as a kid but I quit when my mom wouldn’t buy me the belts as I earned them. But my 3rd grade teacher also happened to be a black belt and would have us to moves while learning our times tables. Unfortunately by the time my little brother got to her class she had broken a leg and was going senile. This happened every 3 years to an eccentric teacher I had, they would have broken a leg and gone and lost a few marbles so to speak by the time my brother had them as teachers.
