Hi, the OG Norman Osborne/green goblin here. Couple of quick things. One: I believe you refer to this as being shot in New York, but this was shot in Baltimore. Two, sound: no boom mike, all direct camera microphone, or Overdubbed in my apartment, often under a blanket to take out the reverb and echo. Dan Poole is insane, but so true and honest to the Spider-Man dynasty. This may have been the first true fan film, and I was proud to be part of it. The only thing its missing is the final line of dialog as Green Goblin slumps over and the narrator says "And so the proud men die, crucified not on a cross of gold but on a steak of humble tin" Even then you can feel it in the way they shot his death. Perfect fan film. Always looked up to everyone on the crew

Holy shit, the part where his is just yelling at Goblin and telling him that he doesn't know what love is and calling him a maniac felt so genuine, that guy fucking nailed the idea that Spider-Man is furious.

i actually love how cool this movie is, the practical effects really haven't aged all that much and they're really technically impressive here.

It's so cool seeing something that people really put their heart and soul into. Like this guy had a lot of passion for this film. Yeah he was a bit psychopathic about it, but he had the right spirit!

Yeah, scenes like Peter's genuine rage in that warehouse with the Goblin and him busting down that garage door really makes the home-made feeling of the movie that much more satisfying.

It's so funny to me that not only does this movie adapt the same storyline as Lotus, but in a much better way, this is probably the best adaptation of the Gwen's death storyline that I've seen in live action

Honestly I'd love to see another film in this universe with Dan Poole as an older Peter Parker training Miles Morales how to Spider-Man but only if there's a scene where Peter shows Miles an insane swing off a building and gets bruised and then Miles is already where Peter Landed and just says "Yeah, I took the Stairs"

Unironically love this movie. You can tell the people who made it genuinely loved Spider Man (and they didn't make the movie out of spite because they thought they knew better than the official Spider Man cough cough Lotus). It has a very strong "TV movie you would watch on VHS" vibe. And the practical effects look so good!!! Genuinely some shots were cooler than the average CGI effects of today. And the music!!!!!! The music is so underappreciated!!!!!! It really ties everything together into something both charming, impressive, and fun.

The funny thing is that the mask was actually custom-made for the actors face. It's pretty damn good for what looks like a official green goblin mask
