Karmir is great! they also respool vision3 250D and 500T, as well as a couple of b&w films. and on top of that, their lab in Yerevan is absolutely amazing

They don't even need a reason to mess with film prices but I'm sure they'll use it.

My guess is that English is not the first language for whoever did the documentation -- makes sense considering it was written in Armenia. But the documentation still sounds pretty good -- just some interesting adjectives. Regardless it's yet another aerocolor respool -- I'd love to see a list of all of the aero respools available right now -- and especially what ISO each one recommends....

That is a very fair point, I think the adjectives add a nice little bit of flair just some of them caught me off guard as I was reading them. I'll have to put together a video of available aerocolor respools and see how much that list takes a hit in 2025.

@@RompingBronco -- Is Aerocolor on of the 'cine' films that Kodak is going to cut back selling in bulk to respooling-resellers?
@Mike_Wazowski_z14 күн бұрын
100 speed black and white film through the pentax can look like full frame images if scanned well in my opinion. I haven't experimented much with high speed films in it though would be interesting to see this film put through it though!

Got 2 packs for Christmas and can’t wait to use it… with lots of flash 😆supposedly is kodak aerocolor - also want to compare it with Santacolor that’s almost expiring and need to use it.. looking forward to seeing your results and review

Cool. It's at freestyle. Not a bad price either but when the tariffs kick in next year it may not be a good price.

I miss Silberra 100 in 120. Aerocolor has some cool properties which I welcome, unlike say, Phoenix.

Carefully crafted grain 🤣Sounds like a company trying to distance themselves from the fact they are just respooling Kodak film….yawn.

Looks like a neat roll, cant wait to see the scans.

Does the USA make film domestically? Factory roll-out within the continent?

Where are all these people getting aerochrome? Did some govt agency sell off all its stock?
@RompingBronco15 күн бұрын
I’m still waiting to hear back from them, if they are anything like No Color they may just have access to overstock or they were buying it from Kodak directly, either way not sure!
@Ybalrid15 күн бұрын
Kodak sells it still. But it is insanely expensive I think, and in a odd format. This is more involved than merely re-spooling it. You pretty much need to do all the "finishing" I suppose? (cutting, sprocket holes, etc..)
@itsjustpizza14 күн бұрын
This is not aerochrome not even close. Don't get excited we will likely never see that produced again and no Kodak does not still sell it, bulk or otherwise. It has been discontinued for longer than most of you have probably been into photography, myself included. Sorry to burst bubbles. I wish it would come back too.

@@itsjustpizzasorry I think we’re all talking about aerocolor here.

Thank you for the clarification, I know the results are drastically different but the fact that Aerocolor and Aerochrome sound so similar my brain just mushes them together. I'll learn one day, or I won't and can keep farming interactions hahaha
