I saw it last night on a huge screen with 2 other people... in the entire theater. Just 3 of us... opening week! I've never seen a theater so empty... ever. But the movie was good. I'm glad I watched on a big screen. Good action and no woke crap. It's my 2nd favorite this year behind Dune 2.

I loved Furiosa. It added some awesome pieces to the universe Miller has been building. Ties beautifully into the game and Max movie. And we got to see Max for a split second. =) but Furiosa was legit in her getup towards the end.

Anya was perfect for the roll. Thats awesome you got her out there! 😎👍So I’ve always been a huge fan of all the Mad Max movies. Watched Furiosa and loved it. Anya was perfect for the roll and played it well. I love how the movie expanded more on the history of the wasteland, economy/trading/outposts, characters, and purpose of the Fury Road. Anyone that calls this movie woke doesn’t know what they’re talkin about and they just wanna assume everything is “woke” cause there’s a female. Lots of KZbinrs like to call things “woke” to get views even when a movie isn’t woke and it’s ridiculous. Then mindless parrots repeat it most not even seeing the movie or thinking for themselves lol. Furiosa had amazing story telling overall, world building, solid acting, and intense action. I ended up watching Mad Max Fury Road again right after watching Furiosa and appreciated it even more than the first time I saw it. It made me in the mood to go on a marathon watching all the older Mad Max and Road Warrior movies also.

Yup!!! This movie is not from Disney. It's from WB, who is competing against Disney. WB made a non-woke badass action movie with cars, explosions, guns, hand to had combat, with great apocalyptic world building. All of the youtubers are just saying, "Oh, there's a girl in it. It's woke." These same idiots would boycott Aliens, Kill Bill, and Terminator 2.

It was fun action movie without all the woke crap - they showed us cool locations (gas town, bullet farm, the green place), characters were interesting and well written (Chris Hemsworth was both funny and scary), and Anya was believable in that role - near the end of movie, I was almost convinced she was very much alike to Charlize Theron from the previous movie.

To be honest, I’m a diehard Mad Max fan and after thunder dome the franchise just lost my interest. I’ve watched every movie and after Thunder Dome it has been very mediocre for me. JUST NOT THE SAME as it used to be.

I did. Nice action movie for mindless two hours. Story wise the movie did not need to be made. It kind of felt like “Rise of Skywalker” things happen just so that it happens. If anything when you put it alongside Fury Road it just ruins the plot somehow. But then again WB want to milk that franchise.

I did not think much of Anya Taylor-Joy but went and saw the movie and I know that the script/director/edit team controls much of this but she was really great. She did not try to over act and it made her silent and strong. Perfect role IMHO.

@@aab350z I just watched it last night. The main character is really Chris Hemsworth as Dr. Dementus and his war with Immortan Joe over Gas Town and the Bullet Farm. Furiosa is just a sniper who works on Praetorian Jack's team. This is the anti-woke badass action movie WB made to compete with Woke Disney. I'd give it 8.5 / 10. I thought Dune 2 was better.

I watched Furiosa on "discount Tuesday" for $7. I saw it on the biggest screen in the biggest theater. And there were 3 of us... in the entire theater. I've never seen anything like this on an opening week. The movie is an anti-woke badass action film about Dr Dementus, Praetorian Jack, and Immortan Joe battling for fuel and bullets. It's a lot like The Road Warrior. 2nd best movie of the year behind Dune 2.

I loved Fury Road and still think it's one of the greatest action films ever made, mostly because the special effects were largely practical with only some CGI. I will definitely check out Furiosa but the trailers don't excite me as much because it looks like there's a lot more CGI than Fury Road.

It's a world building movie where Dr Dementus, Immortan Joe, and Praetorian Jack are fighting for gas and bullets. Furiosa is just a sniper who gets her ass kicked throughout the movie. It's actually really good and the anti-woke movie we've been waiting for. Even Critical Drinker and Redlettermedia liked it along with 90% of critics AND fans on RT. I watched it last night in the emptiest theater I've ever seen. 3 seats of out 500 were taken. No joke. If you are hungry for a good action film that gives the middle finger to Disney, check it out.
