That's a slightly different set up to mine ,there must be an inner bearing on that roller as well, other than that there's not a lot too them, there will be a cog on the other end of the roller then an idler cog then a cog on the end of the motor which will have two bearings in it

Thanks for the information, over the next couple of weeks I'll take the roller off and dig a little deeper, I'm sure between us all we'll figure it out lol.

Hi I've just removed the front plate on my mover. The bearing is totally gone, how did you get your actual roller out is there a bearing on the inner side of the roller?, how did you get it out of yours was the same?. Thanks in advance. Kevin

Have a look at my other video where you see me take it fully apart, you should be able to use a screwdriver or something like that to wedge in at the other end of the roller, it's only pushed on.

Any progress on fixing the motor mover?

Hi Richard, I've not had another chance to look at this yet but will keep you posted as I do need to get around to sorting this once and for all.

Hi mate, what make motor mover is it please?
@wobbleboxcrew6 ай бұрын
Hi Mark, it's a Quattro classic caravan motor mover I believe, can't see a model number on it, hope that helps.

I have mine in bits at the moment trying to work out what's going on, works fine just makes a stupid clicking sound lol

I'm sorry but the second the bearing end cap came out with no resistance shows the outer race is too loose in the roller and the way it span round with noise indicates zero lubrication and to much play between the balls and the races. Bearings don't like being washed with rain especially zz ones (shielded) rather than 2RS ones (rubber seals) for the price of a couple of bearings they definitely needed changing while it's stripped down. Mine clicked and the bearing fell to bits. Poor design with hardly any water protection.

Thanks for sharing this information Paul, I'll keep that in mind now I know how to strip it down completely.

2 part clear epoxy may have been better than silicone
@wobbleboxcrew7 ай бұрын
Perhaps, I don't think I would have been able to get enough glue to make a strong bond, the other issue would be the epoxy would start to go yellow over time if left for a long period.
