Problems with the Motor Movers

Our Messina had a similar issue but only occasionally, other times wouldn’t work at all. Turned out to be an issue with the supplied leisure battery not being powerful enough. Hope yours is something equally easy to fix as ours.

It’s the distance you are from the controller units the small wires / antenna are not able to reach the remote when your standing at the rear of the caravan. When your by the door they are receiving the signals correctly.

Perhaps you could sent a clip of the video to Powrtouch with the movers making the banging noise, that might help them to understand the problem. Good luck.

Hi Mrs B try checking the spade connections on the Motors sometimes thay're not put on right in the Factory thanks Andrew.

Can you not get the dealer that fitted the movers to check it out?

Mine does the same thing. Did you ever resolve it and what was it?

It was my mobile phone causing the issue. I kept my phone away from the remote and it was all good.

Had a similar problem on my twin axle. Turned out the movers were not wired correctly and were working against each other. Once the wiring was sorted they were fine.

I think it was the wifi in the caravan interfering but am going to test this out at the weekend. Thanks for the advice ;)

I am thinking mine has the wiring messed up. How did you sort yours out? What is the best resource for how to get the wiring correct?

Try changing the battery in the remote- might be low signal strength? .

Did you get this issue sorted. I’ve just got our brand new Messina home from the dealers and getting a similar issue

I found that the issue was having my mobile in my pocket and the wifi still on in the caravan, changed this and it was fixed

Hi i now that you have a Motorhome now but did you sort out the banging on the morto mover before you sold it i am having the same problem with mine i have sent powrtouch a video of it but still waiting for them to get back to me Cheers Steve

I think my problem was my mobile phone in my pocket, put it in the house and the problem was resolved.
