I always love this time of year in Vallarta. The town is not packed with tourists so it is easy to get around and do what one needs to do. I enjoy the rain and when there are thunderstorms at night the lighten shows across the bay toward Punta Mita are spectacular.

We were in a rain storm a few years ago in August. It was wonderful !!! We sat in Cuates y Cuetas right by Los Muertos Pier..... the best view!!!! We ate , drank margaritas, and at that time, we were able to smoke in the restaurant. The staff were great, told us we can stay as long as we wanted. The lightning show was awesome. Something we will never forget!!! Enjoy the rain, as much as you enjoy the sunshine!! Love your videos

Saludos Weros , aguas con los arroyos son peligrosos te pueden tumbar , cuidado con los ríos crecidos , cuidense , tal parece que ya se familiarizaron en México hasta con los temporales , México es rústico , salvaje y lleno de sorpresas , en cada rincón hallarán algo nuevo , sus videos están siempre llenos de sorpresas y muestran buen trabajo porque son espontáneos , coman bien rico y sano , son ustedes unos cazadores de momentos inolvidables , buena suerte .

When I was there during the rainy season, it mostly rained at night, and then it was a light rain all night. Daytime seldom wet, but cloudy. El Eden and Chicos Paradise were crazy with swift water, and at Chicos little boys were diving in like cliff divers! I prefer Winter myself, I always stayed at Casa Kimberly when it was still a home. The Hotel there now is glamorous, but no comparison to how it was when Elizabeth Taylor lived there. Nothing fancy at all, just a very big Villa.

I just came back 2 days ago from PV . I went there for 10 days hoping to watch spectacular thunder storms from my balcony but nothing like that happened. There were 2 or 3 storms and evening rains but the next day everything was dry. I hope to catch some when I'm back in October.

I was in downtown Vallarta that day, it poured. I got soaked grabbing a taxi. There was lightning.....it poured on Sept. 10 or 11 though not on the 12th. The 12th I went scuba diving it was hot and humid and sunny/cloudy.

Yes it was during that hurricane that went up the coast a year or two ago....streets!!! But the storm surge made the waves look like chocolate milk and they washed up and under the restaurants...sand bags everywhere! I have some great video....have fun!
