I was 18 in 1987 when that movie came out, and had been doing cocaine since December of 1986 under different circumstances - I was on St. Thomas in the Caribbean with an international cocaine trafficker for a father. I think that movie should be shown to all high school senior year student as a stern warning.

I'm one of the people that dosent like home alone, never have. But like nearly all of the regulars like a Christmas story and Christmas vacation. Scrooged is a classic right up there with all of the older stuff Rankin and Bass made. It's personal preference and picking the right one for the mood.
