For those missing context on how she got robbed, or why she was missing putts... a commentator, world champion, Elaine king thought it was her position to enforce a rule on her that prevented her daughter from caddying for her. Commentator texted paiges caddy (Kristen's competitor who went on to win the event) to tell her she couldn't do that. They made her daughter be supervised by someone in the crowd. They are from Estonia so it made an uncomfortable situation even more foreign. After the debacle Kristen's game started to fall apart. She was visibly distraught, and ended up losing

the TD was following the whole time and should know the rules, Paige and her caddie are a disgrace for answering the phone during play, Elaine is a disgrace for making sure that she was part of the outcome and the tournament. If Paige really saw it as no big deal then why did she say something? why didn't she beat Kristin straight up? Kristin lost because she was more worried about being a mother and the safety of her child, especially with it being her first time in the US, I believe if my memory serves me correctly. this whole scenario is a disgrace and shows the lack of sportsmanship and professionalism on everyone's part.

@@winstonsmith11 really? Paige claims she had no issue with it but then why did she call the rule like 2/3 of the way through the final round? Why did her caddy check her phone? Yes, Paige is responsible for her caddy according to the rules and they have to behave the way players do. Why did the TD not say anything until Paige said something after Elaine texted her caddy? That is disgraceful. How about you get off the Paige bandwagon and look at it from a factual realistic point of view. If a player you are in love with did that what would you say? What if someone did that to Paige? Would you defend Paige? And say it was disgraceful? Or would you applaud the move? Take a Birds Eye view of it rather than an infatuation view point.

All the players have been accommodating. Then Elaine king pulled out the rule book specifically to throw her off her game. Wasn’t interrupting play or cheating. King was just being a poor sport

@@kevinhoopes5711 Kristin’s 10-ish year old daughter was caddying for her during the final round of Champion’s Cup. PDGA rules state your caddy must be 13 or older. Elaine King (commentator for the DGN broadcast) texted Paige Pierce’s caddy during the broadcast that KT’s daughter shouldn’t be caddying. Tournament officials were notified and KT’s daughter was taken off the card and placed with a tournament official to spectate the remainder of the final round. One can understand how having your young daughter taken away from you during the final round of a major could destabilize and disrupt your performance.

Feel free to read up on it, but at its most basic, KT was threatened with DQ because her daughter was caddying for her, in the middle of the final round; someone not involved texted PP's caddy to complain about it. KT's husband was playing already so they shuttled her 10/11 y/o kid out with a stranger. It was extremely rattling for Kristin
