took a break from your videos (mostly because I reached ascendant from silver and coached/IGL'd my community college to a national championship and felt like I didn't need the videos anymore, and I noticed your attitude shift which also drove me away), but after recommending my friend who plays on console your videos because he's looking to improve, I decided to check out your channel again. i was only slightly aware of the drama and didn't care too much about the boosted radiant allegations as much as your actual tone shift. and after watching your video where you addressed your change in behavior, you gained A LOT of respect back in my eyes. the self awareness and balls it takes to admit your fault and to want to make a change was great to hear. hope you continue down this path and keep improving and checking yourself to make sure you don't fall into bad behaviors. as long as you continue to make educational content and have good vibes, you'll continue to have my support. there's hundreds of valorant coaches on youtube, but none have provided as detailed content as you. i benefit greatly from these long form videos, and even if you step away from coaching vods, these longer types of educational videos are what I like to watch. i miss the coaching vods but I definitely understand the need to step away from them. maybe sometime in the future you could continue making them if you limit how often or how many you'll do, but if not, no problem. keep up the work and ignore any hate you get. the steps you have taken are more than most content creators would ever do. glazing over

@rishisoni3386 to get to gold it's mostly just mechanics. Work on movement, crosshair placement and gunfight hygiene. You should also watch woohoojin's gold guide

@@rishisoni3386 yes. in my case, I was just too hasty to shoot. You have to realize that people in silver and gold take long time to kill you. So take your time to shoot. once I learn that technique I skyrocketed to diamond in no time. NO BS

lets go! a new video. real talk, thank you for your content. i genuinely have improved so much thanks to your advice and wisdom. i was hardstuck bronze for 2 episodes then i ripped my foundation apart, started from scratch, and used your vods (as well as other creators) for guidance. after about 1-2 months of legit practice, i climbed to gold with ease. i wasnt able to hit plat, but considering where i was versus where i am, i am proud of myself. you were a big influence and source of this accomplishment. so again, thanks hooj. couldnt have done it without you

11:08 The cloth above garage doors exist because sage used to be able to wall up there and shoot people from the tiny slot above the door. It was a really broken angle in the beta launch. The cloth makes this angle impossible, even at low settings, because now sage can't see from above the doors. I'm guessing they didn't want to give it collision because it would get in the way of utility, so sova darts would go through it fine. If you look at the first beta build of haven it actually doesn't have the cloth above the doors, they added that post launch.

This couldn't have come at a more perfect time: me and my duo have been slogging our way through high gold this act and do pretty well on every single map except bind and haven (with haven having a 20-something percent winrate for both of us and me in particular struggling to frag at all due to being dizzy on the map). It's safe to say this map has been singlehandedly holding us back and I'm really hoping some of the tips in this guide can help me suck less.

36:42 for omen ults I like to mostly ult hell, then alternate between ct box and heaven with my team pushing out. For some reason after heaven came back nobody clears the hell ult in ascendant so usually I get free kills/easy trades for my jett/info and pressure on the person backsite.

New from console. Aim isnt the best but above average. Peak atm, is Plat 3, fighting for my life in plat 1. I play Cypher so these angles are 100% going into the mind palace. Taking smart fights, with bad aim is how you climb with my hooves for hands ass. Knowing where you can slip up and holding key one ways is very important for Cypher, ive learned. Yes, in gold you can just play whatever. Low plat too. That was hell but fun.

Cavern is cool, but he has not enough custom time with breach obviously. There so much cool flashes and aftershocks on this map, guys, go try yourself if you are a flash initiator player. Im grinding my customs as breach and got from d3 to asc 2. Im playing breach for only 3 months 😂 saying this just because breach part looked a bit underwhelming, but believe me this man can cook!
