Growing up in Haverhill in the 1950's &1960's, it is distressing to see the changes that have taken place since the 1970's .. Haverhill will always be fondly remembered by me for what it was, not necessarily what it has become ..

​@jfvideostravel Some areas are quiet, but you're correct this old city is beautiful. I've lived here for over 40 years in a house built in 1889. Louie B Mayer, of MGM fame, once lived in my house when movies were first getting started. Haverhill is updating itself and is becoming a better place to live and work.

@@nimkazerraymond8740 Yes. It's turning into Lawrence part 2. Gangs and graffiti everywhere. Shitty music blaring obnoxiously from every car that drives by all hours of the day and night. Trash everywhere (both human and otherwise).

Haverhills a lot nicer than it used to be even just 10 years ago, at least imo. Its just ridiculously overpriced for a city that has as many problems as it does. The whole mv used to be affordable now i dont think there are any affordable towns or cities left. Maybe certain areas in Lawrence where you can get a good deal but even Lawrence is expensive nowadays
