One thing I didn't remember when I was talking about Australian native placental mammals, but actually encountered one a few weeks after this was filmed. We have a native species of water rat called the Rakali or (Hydromys chrysogaster). I saw one swimming around under St. Kilda Pier.

Fun fact: a little while back Golden Gaytime icecream was released in like regular icecream-style tubs as a sort of anniversary thing of its original release, I think? It's vanilla and honeycomb icecream with biscuit chunks and it was glorious.

Thats one thing I noticed when I was over in the US. The pizzas were just boring. Huge sizes, but nothing interesting for toppings. (and yes I tried some smaller mom and pop stores too). I mean this is the list of topping from the last pizza I brought in Brisbane. Wagyu Beef with a Wild Mushroom medley and Green Capsicum on a Hoisin & Tomato Base, garnished with Shōga & Chilli, topped with a Japanese inspired dressing. Was bloody nice too.

Whenever I see footage from a right-hand-drive car, I think the driver is incredibly powerless. Not because they're on the other side of the car, mind you, but because oh my god, the driver doesn't have a steering wheel or any controls whatsoever, they're all gonna to die! Okay, just to clarify for Matt & Matthew: the term "right-hand drive" means the driving position is on the RIGHT side of the car; i.e. the steering wheel and controls are on the right side. (so vehicles for use in UK, Australia, NZ, Japan, etc.) Right-hand drive vehicles are typically operated on the *left* side of the road (see parenthetical examples previously). Cars in Australia are right-hand drive, but cars in the US, Canada, Mexico, mainland Europe, etc. are *left*-hand drive (and operated on the right side of the road)

Funny thing is... you can get pulled been and bacon at NA Domino's (no "e" for some reason). Domino's is defiantly "fast food" pizza, but it's alright. The selection isn't terrible. Sounds to me like it's mostly Canadian pizza that's boring ;)

Ah. Okay. Here, we have Little Caesars to fill the McDonald's slot, where Dominos is just about on par with Pizza Hut. The drivers are still dumb as rocks, though. I live in a secure building with a call box... I've seen rats figure out buttons more easily (also, I used to work at a pizza place, so yeah).

Bubble O' Bill is available stateside as well, and I can confirm, like most face-and-gum pops, it's pretty bad. Chocolate, caramel, strawberry, and bubblegum; four fine flavors on their own, that do not make for a good time when combined.

Actually "Hawaiian" pizza is a Canadian creation, so it's not surprising that he'd default to that when tired, a tiny bit sunburned (and make suffering from a smidgen of heat exhaustion?) To be fair, if you're thinking 'Hawaiian style cuisine' with regards to pizza toppings, you're not going to go with banana peppers and spicy sausage. (I mean, yes, 'ham' is kinda lacklustre in relation to the pork products you'd get at a luau, but again, *available* among pizza toppings - "you go to war with the army you HAVE, not the army you WANT")

Domino's here has something of a reputation for... just weird pizzas. Every few months they'll make up something new and bizarre, and try to get customers based solely on the novelty. Every so often one sticks around and becomes part of the permanent menu, but those are few and far between. Do a Google Image search for "Domino's meat pie pIzza" some time.

Not just where you are; I think someone in the exec HQ has to justify their corner office by constantly coming up with new ideas...and sometimes they really scrape the bottom of the barrel. Oh, and that 'chicken carbonara' pizza? You *can* get it in Canadian Domino's restaurants - I'm kinda glad G&K don't eat there much; it speaks well for their 'taste' in pizza. (Domino's is a nice default 'I just want something simple to jam in my pie hole that someone else will make for me and bring to me' for those days when you're just about wiped out even before supper but even out here in 'Middle-Of-Oblivion, Canada' we've got a surprising variety of quality pizza restaurants.)
