Yeah, there’s supposed to be an hour before you can fuse again. But the writers just forgot about that plot point. Then again, they forget about this plot point very often. It’s possible that they could have waited an hour before trying to fuse again in Fusion Reborn after Veku, but we don’t see a montage or timeskip of them waiting. They just try again right away. In GT, Goku and Vegeta try to fuse again right after they defuse when it shouldn’t have worked unless they waited. So I can’t blame Broly’s writers for forgetting and just letting them immediately fuse again. Show is usually remembered and trusted more than tell.

I know it kind of makes sense for them to have a similar personality to Vegetto but I prefered Gogeta to be his own being like in Fusion Reborn, there was no cockyness just doing what needs to be done.
