Glad that you had the laser done Dave. I have had cataract surgery in both eyes and also the YAG laser in both eyes 6 years later. I have experienced great results.

Oh Dave, I literally cried with happiness for you as I watched this! I had to have this procedure as well, after cataract surgery. Before the second surgery all I could see was a blur of color...couldn't recognize Chris right in front of me while covering my good eye so I understand what you're talking about. Sounds like I am developing cataracts as well. Have RP and in my early 30s glad to see there is some hope.

Im your new subscriber because of same case RP and cataract surgery. But the problem is i dont have enough money to get eye check specialist. I cant work when it happen to me until now since 2019 of december.

I have RP and i'll undergo cataract surgery,The result was so worsen until now my vision on my right eye were conduct surgery was blurry i cant see image. So if you have RP and cataract think before you undergo the cataract surgery.

My dr. Told me not to have ot done. My brother lives in a group home has RP they had him go threw the surgery I think it made it worse

Sounds like you went the NHS route where one size fits all and any complications caused by the initial surgery will be treated at a later date?

My boyfriend has rp.they found cataract in his eyes so as his gf I'm nervous we have 5 kids one is 15 months me I work 40 plus hours a week I'm taking the day off of his surgery can you give me advice on how I should care for him after? What can I do to help him. Sadly i go back to work after but my oldest daughter will be at home w him.

I had cataract surgery last week.despite having Cme. My eyesight got better than immediately worse the next day. I went back yesterday for an emergency checkup. I now have PCO. They said they will laser it off in 4 weeks
