Love watching your videos, i own multiple MPCs as well and really want to pick up a Roger Linn model next. Honestly probably be a 60 Mk 2 because 3000 is just crazy expensive. I own a 500, 1000, 2000 and a One. The 2000 i have ripped apart upgrading everything but what i noticed about it while testing it (while the floppy actually worked) i noticed it was a super simple layout and straight forward. I was going to work without reading a manual or anything. Soon ill have a USB drive installed, new pad sensor because my pads are DEAD, and eventually gotta replace the dim dim screen. Obviously i need the 8 outs and id like the eb 16 fx units eventually also. After all repairs im looking up to a $1000 which sucks but at the same time this guy was going to the trash! I could have bought a fully loaded unit for around the same price but it would mean one less 2000 out there. I trash repaired my 1000 and 500 also, if i can find a broken unit on the cheap id rather fix it myself knowing it works!

awesome video. I made so many dope beats off the Deathwish soundtrack back in the late 90s, it was that one! so many loops on that joint, Herbie Hancock did his thing on that. I probably had my MPC for about 3 years then after upgrading from my S950 and atari 8 channel sequencer 😂. your gear and vinyl collection is GOD level, and extremely inspiring. 🙏🏿
