Thank you both for being so open, respectful of each other and others in general. One of the biggest things I regret in my career is not focusing on prioritizing me so that I can care for others well. All amazing points, and so happy for your family!!

This made me tear up!!! I have a nine month old who I had during my intern year of my current internal medicine residency. It was so heartwarming to hear your experiences. I relate a ton to the struggles with sleep and pumpimg at work and the night shifts with a newborn at home. Thank you for sharing your story. I love hearing physicians talk about how they are prioritizing their families! Thank you!

Thank you so much for this video! If you feel comfortable doing so, I really would love more insight how you did (female perspective) during the actual pregnancy during residency, how you were able to make it through long nights, tips and tricks for anyone who is planning to be pregnant during residency, etc.

Isaiah is so beautiful. Omg. His skin was glowing. I think my insomnia is gonna be a blessing when I have kids. I hardly sleep now... beautiful story.

Good job breastfeeding for 9 months as a resident! Thats awesome. I did 15 months but I have my own office and flex schedule so not that hard. I have a doctor friend who used the hands free pump that fits in your bra- Elvie- and she loved the convenience.

Wow, excellent video. I am an IMG and I am planning to take Step 1 this year. I have my doubts about having a baby during Steps 1 and 2 or waiting until residency....Based on your experience, definitely sounds easier to have a baby during my study period than during residency. Thank you for sharing your experience, I wish you the best for your family.
