@Baniaz1 it's not, but in Singapore we have about 30% of Muslims that lieve here so alot of foods are Halal even our Fast Restaurants mostly are Halal. We are know as the Food Paradise with alot of Asian and western food variety!

otak means brain, otak-otak is the fish cake. the reason why it sounds Filipino is because it's a Malay word. Malay and Tagalog belongs to the same language family. the languages are like cousins but they don't understand each other. they have a lot of similar sounding words tho and some words might have the same meaning. basically the Malays and Filipinos has the same origin hence the similarities in physical features & language.
