Having so much Fun at Disney World Without Actually Going in the Parks | MK Monorail Bar Crawl!!

In today's video I wanted to have a fun Disney day but not inside of the theme parks. Instead we decided to try a challenge which is called the Magic Kingdom Resort monorail bar crawl and how it works well its simple. You have to start by hopping on the resort monorail and get off at all of the Magic Kingdom resorts such as Disney's Polynesian, The Grand Floridian and The Contemporary Resort and if you want to make it more challenging and fun hop on the boat that takes you over to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. But you have to make a stop at one of the bars at each resort to get either an adult beverage, a non alcoholic beverage or food. We also got to see a rocket launch from Wilderness Lodge which was incredible. I also check out some of the construction work around the different resorts and look at some of the new merchandise. This was such a fun challenge and we did successfully complete everything. If you do try this challenge please drink responsibly. Call me crazy, but I really miss the old Polynesian lobby with the huge waterfall in the center! It was really immersive and made you feel like you were in the Hawaiian Islands!

This is exactly what we did in September -- we had a blast! Started with breakfast at Poly, lunch at the Contemporary, and dinner at the Grand. Along with resort hopping, we also spend a day over at Disney Springs. Glad y'all had a fun time too! Thanks for the outstanding content!

If you stay at Contemporary garden wing make sure you book a ground floor facing Bay Lake. The bottom floor rooms have a full porch where you can walk out to the beach. I believe higher floor rooms aren't full balconies.

My friend and I did this once. We rode the monorail and looked at the beautiful lobbies of resorts. We also took the ferry from MK and ate at the Trails End buffet at Fort Wilderness too.

So much fun. Your favorites have been our favorites. We love visiting the magic kingdom resorts when we are staying at another area resort. One of my favorite Disney moments is riding in the boat returning from wilderness geyser point late lunch (which was beautiful sitting by the water) - the sun was beginning to set, the boat pilot just slowed down and we all just soaked in the beauty - magical.

Thanks for this video. We hope to go to Florida in the summer and Resort hopping is what we intend to do. It's tough being so close to Disney World and not go to the parks. I couldn't watch any Disney videos before Christmas because I wanted so much to go with my daughter and 11 year old grandson, but I can't afford it. We used to go about every other year since my daughter was little and usually stayed on property, but I just can't afford it anymore. It's just so sad that my grandson won't grow up having those memories as my daughter does. The last time we came was about 3 years or so ago. We only went to one park on one day. Now, I can't afford any of the parks anymore. I was standing in line to buy a lottery ticket the other day and the lady behind me asked if I'd ever won. I said yes, several years ago I won $10,000, but Disney got all of it. Ha ha. Literally, we spent about 10 days there and spent the entire amount on Disney. I think that was the last time we used an airline instead of driving from Tennessee. I asked my grandson if he remembered it and he doesn't. That's too bad. I was wanting him to have a memory of me being there with him.

I didn’t drink around the monorails but I visited them in April when I couldn’t get into the parks I had breakfast at ohana walked over to grand Floridian and saw the Easter eggs and had lunch at steakhouse 71 and came back to Kona for dinner and watched fireworks from there and the next day went to grand Floridian cafe for dinner and watched fireworks from the boat dock and it was a ton of fun

This was great. So happy for y'all had good time. I never Resort hopped, but I'm definitely doing it next time down there. We were lucky to stay at Wilderness Lodge years ago, and it was Wildernesstastic. Loved the water views and the food atcall 3 places was delicious, Hope to go back again. I'd like to see you hop the resorts on the Skyliner line... and then hop resorts by car. Like the Boardwalk and the beautiful Animal Kingdom Lodge where you can stroll and check out many beautiful animals. Try it!

Disney has partnered with Scentsy and you can buy the lobby scent in a wax melt brick! I have it and its amazing! Its their 50th anniversary brick.....and they use it in all the resorts currently! Love doing resort hopping! We were in Disney that weekend! Thank you for sharing!

It was definitely a magical night with the fireworks in the end ! Nice vlog. I hate that it such a long wait everywhere. Imagine doing that wait with kids who are over waiting lol 😂 a hot Florida mess! They need to come up with a better system or open up a second bigger location for the busiest restaurants. Disney has become more of a waiting for everything and for families with little ones that is becoming annoying. Thanks for a fun vlog y'all!

Next time you head to Cincinnati/Kings Island, you're only about 1 1/2 hours from the Buffalo Trace distillery. (1 hour from the Cincinnati airport.) They're tours are really good. Part of the Bourbon Trail.

We’ve been going to WDW often without doing parks. We like to stay at AKL and ride the boats, monorail and skyliner. Before covid AKL had a free food tasting and an inexpensive wine tasting tour. We also hotel hop and do Disney Springs. We recently went to Disney Parks and got on all the classic rides without signing up for or purchasing any Genie etc. Having to have a park reservation and not being able to “hop” until 2pm was the downfall. We won’t be doing that again. Will never buy park hopper unless you can go anything ,and we aren’t fan of having to decide which park to do way before the trip it’s ridiculous. Our conclusion, as a “legacy” family who’s been going to Disney since 1972, we will not go back to parks until there’s grandchildren. But we will still go to AKL and enjoy the other amenities the World has to offer.

LOL Trader Joe's they might have gotten into...and they DEFINATELY would have been treated better (not to mention food samples are back!!!) And I SO could see myself calling it the same thing 😂 And I would love to do the monorail crawl myself. Although years back I DID to the Epcot bar crawl. Only once did I go to a Disney hotel I wasn't staying at...despite MANY plans. I regret that
