19:15 Man, I remember the first time I had a Psyker teammate use the Bubble for me. I think I was still playing Malice at the time (and struggling lol) and I just remember thinking "Holy hell, this thing is insanely helpful!" I remember I didn't even try shooting out of it -- I assumed it worked like the Bubble Shield from Halo 3. Nope! It's just that good. Such a good ability.

Mr. E is objectively correct in his analysis which is the best kind of correct. I'd like to post two thoughts: 1. the assumptions about how the team is composed and with what weapons are correct and the typical meta I expect to see is like two books, one shout and a bubble or some variation on that theme. I do however think there's space for the majority of moderately skilled players to sub out one book for what I will call a "greed" slot. This player can be something like a FotF Zealot, a venting shriek psyker, an ogryn using indomitable. The advantage is higher damage output. The disadvantage is less safety for the team. On the whole I think that teams that are capable of this swap will actually have a better clear rate than if they had stuck with two book zealots because the added damage output improves clear times and movement speeds which will shorten runs and reduce threat faster. 2. Point Blank Barrage is totally griefing. Even in the context of a 4 gunlugger challenge run where I'm only using it to kill bosses, and that use case is singularly valid, it still nearly feels like griefing because of how much opportunity cost I am losing on the lack of indomitable or taunt and other good talents in Ogryn's tree. I beat that challenge run as glugger twice today and it felt awful the whole time. I did giant piles of boss damage though, so it served its singular purpose. Any other class could do this same thing and do it better with less costs.

If you have two psykers who know what they are doing, one bubble and one venting shriek is monstrous. Venting can add 400-700k damage on its own. Double bubble is nice, though.

Scrier’s gaze is between actual wild and very disappointing. They can one hit crusher’s and become the biggest damage dealer out there at speeds unseen… with hyper specific builds and finding someone good with that is very rare. While at the same time can be close to griefing by missing out on some of the best teamplay abilities in the game. The bad part is there is no in between and no guarantee anyone using it will be great, bad, okay or the best player you’ve ever seen making zealots look like slow. Its weird.

They probably think "well there's a lot of gunners on havoc" so they pick the 2 "counters" to gunners. But smokes suck ass since gunners will just run around the smoke to continue shooting at the team.

I'd argue Shroudfield being in D tier tbh Solely because gunners are so quick to engage that Shroudfield ends up kinda being a griefing ability anyway. I've seen people go stealth next to me only for me to instantly get downed because they were about to engage them only for them to stealth and instantly switch targets and shoot me without even a millisecond for me to actually react to it. Anything that relies on stealth is just not cohesive for the teamplay required for Havoc solely because of how it fucks with the AI and makes it unpredictable.

Hi, love your content! I'm a pretty new player to the game, just recently got all my dudes to level 30 and like Vermintide 2 it's just now when the game truly begins. I've seen some of your builds vods and weapon tiers to get a bit of a grasp at how the game works, what is recommended and what isn't, etc. I've done a few Auric level missions in Heresy difficulty, and like 2 on Damnation. They haven't gone terribly bad which is something, so I was wondering, since most of the content right now is focused on Havoc (understandably so, it's not really a complaint) for Auric level of difficulty what kind of build and equipment would be recommended to use? I know this is a game and having fun and using the things you enjoy is key, but I'd also like to know if I'm making things harder for me and everyone else without even knowing.

Havent watched yet but ive using a vet grenade build from big doms channel, been tearing up havoc with it and its really fun compared to the boring duelling sword plasma gun stuff

I only use point blank barrage and eat all the ammo for lower havoc levels like lower than 18. After that it is not really usable in my experience. For havoc levels 30-40 I usually use loyal protector.

Taunt also increases dmg done to enemy by 25%. You didn't mention that. Wanted to say too. Havoc is great, but i hate it when games give you less ammo to make it more "challenging." It's not. it's just more annoying and crippling diversity.

You can get it up to 40% DMG actually with Soften Them Up (15%) on top when you hit them after you taunt them hit them. He doesn't mention this because he's inexperienced with Ogryn.

I'm sorry, but bubble is not nowhere near as safe of a pick as book or shout. It has limited effect on a stationary area, it doesn't really let you push that far forward, and that gunner or revved reaper you've mentioned? Yeah they're breaking your bubble in seconds on havoc 40. On one hand, it can be a good addition for turtling strat, but on the other, the main class to benefit from turtling is burn psyker, and guess who you've just removed a bunch of damage and instant quell from.

If you have at least two other shout/book on the team, shriek is S. This is factored for the standard skill too, and i think average players will produce better results with bubble

how would you measure a build using vent/disrupt destiny with FGS, bolt pistol and assail? would something that focus on feeding kills of assail to buff the other weapons good? what rank would it be?

Fairly low down because no staff (flame/blast staff are op) and assail doesnt do enough damage to be useful on high havoc

Totally disagree on Loyal Protector being only B Tier. It's an easy A-S Tier with no question. You're distracting heretic's & or bosses from the team taking off pressure & with Big Lungs even better. Also with the 25% base DMG on top of Soften Them Up (15%), it's literally 40% extra DMG on whatever target you're in combat with & this is without a red stimm either imagine having that on top of it, jesus. Especially if you're throwing shout onto a boss & hit them with STU your team will melt it like crazy. I know people will just take Attention Seeker, but I find that it's only really great with the little shit gunners & you don't get all those DMG buffs either. Also, Shroudfield in C Tier? LOL What.... Absolutely not.

@ It's literally not a full 60 seconds with Bruiser & Combat Ability Cool Down on curios that is incorrect shouldn't you know this as "Darktide KZbinr" lol. Plus, I play in a pre-made full of guys with combat ability cool down for the team like Seer's Presence, etc. So, you're not literally waiting the full duration of 60 seconds every single time as long as you're killing like a good Ogryn. It's absolutely A & or S tier. Do you even play Ogryn? It's literally 40% DMG with LP+STU that cannot be ignored. It comes back much faster than you think & you're not trying to spam that carelessly either. It's more of a correct judgment call when to use it. It's almost as if you guys didn't read anything I typed up there at all. Don't skim through stuff. Read more carefully.

Being honest, sounds like turning an action game into an mmo. You press your button then I press my button and then you press your button. Skill expression is zero. I've been away from the game since week 1 or 2 of this for personal reasons. Just piss toughness and psyker dots. It sucks
