Suggestions for next episode: 1. Defending lava hound used to attack both air and ground enemies. 2. You couldn't pick members for clan wars. The players with more trophies would automatically join a war whether or not they were active. 3. Lost war attack wouldn't give you any bonus. Now even if you get zero stars you will still get some loot as consolation.

A really minor thing but still something I noticed: remember when the lab what the same size as the town hall And when you wanted to train troops. You needed to go to every Barracks and calculate your troops. They weren’t liked like today

Lol yes, I remember that when I got the king at TH7, this was before the protection from lightning spells on storages, so one of the best ways was dropping lightning spells on the DE storage, and you'd get like 300 DE each attack. It was such a waste but one of the only ways us poor TH7 could get it lol

I remember when Pekka's favourite target is Tesla and Tesla's favourite target is Pekka with 2x damage, and Eagle Artilery's favourite target is Golem with 3x damage.

I remember a time when Valkyries had a different attack animation (I believe it was a side slash animation or something like that) But it was later changed to the spin attack that we have now. Not only that, but when Valks got their new spin attack animation it was not as good because the A.I won't attack in between 2 buildings. Until a later update Valks A.I system would now move in between buildings so that way the spin attack would hit two or more buildings at time. Not sure if anyone else recalls this.

I still remember when army camps were 5*5 tiles in size so when they changed it the bases would look weird. Lightning spell used to be a 2-space spell. I believe some defenses also had favorite targets, iirc eagle artilleries targets golems and did 3x damage, and giant bombs did 2x damage to hog riders. Town halls used to only hold 1000 gold and elixir so when people placed their TH outside to get shields they would lose almost no resources.

Here are some og things for part 5 or future- 1)When it used to show 'clan leader' or ' clan elder' instead of leader or elder. 2) spring traps didn't have levels till like 2016. 3)When Tesla did 2x damage to pekka,a giant bomb did 1.5x to hogs and eagle did 3x to golem. 4) The villager icon which was a button where you could claim achievement rewards. 5)Og Troop icons.(I don't know why isn't it included yet) 6) When level 10 barracks were max, I included this because pekka was the last elixir troop for like 4 years and it felt very good when you maxed barracks at th 8. 7) When you attacked with heroes ,they didn't have the purple background. 8)The old Shop icon.(and also builder one you can include ) 9)Having only home Village.I included this because only ogs remember when home Village was the only base,we made ideas about coc 2.0 or a separate village and supercell ruled it out for many years. 10)Poison spell worked differently,if you placed it on cc troops they would stay there. 11)Old coc icon 12) When everyone used modes in game and got banned permanently or temporarily

Don’t know if you ever mentioned this but back then airbombs and other air traps wouldn’t hit the healer. This was eventually changed because people started using Healers + Queen.

5:28 I played back in 2013/2014 and made a new account last month. I’m already halfway through maxing out everything for townhall 7. Getting the Barb King was absolutely no work at all because they gave me the 5000 dark elixir as a reward for the tasks. Certain aspects of the game are too easy now tbh.

I don't know if someone mention it but there are some things I remeber. Hidden tesla would deal 2x damage to P.E.K.K.A. Giant bomb would do the same to hog riders. When it's comes to sound, archers had diffrent death sound from today. Edit: I remembered Valkyre glitch that would made instant golem trained for 1 gem. (Sorry if my english isn't the best. Feel free to correct me.)

I know it's already been talked about but the biggest change for me is the fact that over the years wall prices have been reduced by 90%..... A level 10 wall only cost a 100000 now and it used to cost 4 million it literally used to be Max storages for level 11 walls And you would have to upgrade 400 of them

Back when android accounts had to go download clash of clans from some sketchy 3rd party online store because the google play store download would just crash. It did this for every major update I can remember from about 2013ish-2014ish. Kinda fits the long android wait times. But yeah I had to get some sketchy download the day of a new update just so I could play without waiting for supercell to patch it 3 days later.

I don't know if it's already mentioned in other episodes, but back then when searching for multiplayer battle when the 30 seconds runs out and you haven't click "next" you will be forced to attack or else you lose trophies even if you haven't deployed any troops. Unlike now as long as you haven't deployed any troops, spells etc. you can "end battle" without losing trophies.

I remembered when there were no dark elixir troop, all we had was normal troop till pekka and the max townhall was 8, it was so hard to grind and the dragons took like 30 minutes each to train, pekka was 45 min. The minions were the first dark troop i saw and i love using them

Another OG thing: Before the update in the builder base where the time decides weather you win or loose, on very low builder hall levels (like 1 or 2), it was actually hard to get recources bcs literally EVRYONE ALWAYS got 100%, so you would hear the draw sound A LOT (compared to other things this is actually not that old but for the most people it was probably a long time ago when they started a new builder base)

One thing that will always stick with me is the Mega/Mega Empire clan. I swear that family’s reign lasted for such a long time, and it wasn’t ever just one "Mega" clan. Sometimes the top 5 clans would have at least two Mega clans in them.

I started playing on the day it was released. I was 8 years old and didn’t know how the game worked so I put my walls all around the base cause I thought they can’t spawn stuff if I took up the whole base, but that plan failed. I also rushed a whole bunch and I will not stop playing until I’m maxed. I still rush to this day, I’m a Th14 with rushed walls, heros, wiz towers, Tesla’s, and cannons. I wish I didn’t remove the rocks and other decoration.

In the very early days you couldn‘t see how many loot you can get if you attack a player. You had to estimate by looking at the mines and storages!
