Haw Creek Falls, Rhino Rack Batwing Awning & Pilot Knob

After making it through Carwash Falls, we search out Haw Creek Falls Campground where we set up our 270 Awning for the first time. With a few hours of daylight left, we head to Pilot Knob in search of a cell signal!

Rock Creek Mountain Road looked like a good road back down to hwy 164 & Hagarville. Almost looked like some dispersed sites as you were driving along(?) Nice video of the area. Enjoyed seeing your setup of the batwing awning & the addition of a "room" for you. Thanks for sharing with us. 💫

We did think we saw some back in there but it looked like there was also a lot of logging going on too. We are loving the extra room! Thanks for watching!

@@HEKNBAK We were up on hwy 23: called the Pig Trail and hwy 103, then paralleling the Mulberrry River. Gorgeous area, too. And, Wow, some amazing switchbacks on hwy 103 and still the ice / snow on the sides of the roads. Temp was 57 upwards to 66 degrees. 💫

The awning is a Rhino Rack Batwing 270 Awning. The campground was really nice - I bet it gets a lot of use in the summer. Thanks for the great comments!
