Madilyn here. I absolutely love this Hawaiian journal. We got to go to Hawaii back in the 80s. I kept all the books and things on where we went and what we did and about 2 years ago I just pitched it because why am I hanging on to it. That was before I knew about Journals. Now I wish I could have it to make one like yours. Beautiful job!!!

Hey April! I was thinking of you down there with all that rain 🌧 I saw on the news there, some people were on a beach, when this huge rouge wave comes up on the shore ! People were running all over! 😢 Mother Nature is something isnt it?? I have one question: What do you for dyeing paper? Looks like food coloring? 🤔 Where did you get the paper? Its gorgeous! This book reminded me of my mother and sister who went there back when Lincoln was president 😅. I made a scrapbook of her trip after they passed away. It always helps to craft to ease grief 😢. My brother and i are the only ones left in my immediate family 😢Im thankful i still have him around . 😊😊

Howdy! Yes oh goodness the rain was wild! I'm all for the rain and we definitely need it but it was a rough few days with the flooding lol. Mother Nature definitely is quite something! For dying yes I use food coloring sometimes I mix in magicals or color sprays like tattered angels. It just really depends on what the vibe is. Ah I'm so sorry about your mom and your sister but that is a great way to process your grief reliving those good memories you had. And I hope that you and your brother continue to take care of each other! 🙏🏽🫶🏽 Thanks for watching! ❤️
