Awesome! My grandfathers brother was Rev. Abraham Akaka, as a child, I’ve spent a lot of time there on the church grounds running around, playing.

When i was a young kid we went on a field trip to the Kawaihao mission house. We go inside and I start to get dizzy. We go up these narrow stairs where get one bedroom and crib and i ready for throw up and no can catch my breath. My teacher bearhugs me and run me down the stairs and takes me outside real fast. Within a few minutes I’m ok. I start to head back in and my teacher stops me and tells me not to go back in. She said she was experiencing the same thing. Years later when i got into construction my coworker and i had to go check out the place for renovation. I go inside and I start getting little bit dizzy. I never tell my coworker but he says he hopes we no get the job cuz he get funny kine feeling. They hold off the work cuz of some historical stuffs and we never get the job. I was so relieved!

I worked security at the church overnight years ago, one night I was sitting at the bench under the tree in front of the church, when it was time to do my rounds I got and started walking, then something just compelled me to turn around and as I did I saw a dark figure sitting on the bench right next to where I was just sitting. I ran to my car and the was the last night I worked there 😂
