I have larger boobs too and it sucks feeling "overly sexy" when I'm just wearing a basic v-neck. :( I used to hide them in baggy shirts all the time, but now I'm getting more confidence to wear what I want and remember that formfitting clothing has been sexualized by our patriarchal media...I can change that by loving my body as it is!!

Hey Hitomi, I just wanted to let you know DuPont that's on your racing jacket is a chemical company that for decades covered up the harm caused by chemicals used to make their Teflon products. It poisoned people and the environment. There was a movie released this year called Dark Waters that talks about this scandal. I love your videos, I just thought you might want to be informed about the brand you'd be wearing x

That is a NASCAR Jeff Gordon 24 jacket. That is my mother’s cousin. He gave me Daytona 500 tickets and my father old company Dayco used to work with Dupont. So I got to bring people because we always had extra tickets.

Joshina theyve been making teflon for decades, their plants gave cancer to a huge percentage of those who worked there and they dumped their chemical runoff into waterways for decades, poisoning innumerable cities in the process (no surprise inflating their cancer rates). they have changed the active chemical in teflon "non stick" but it shows in rat studies to cause the same harmful effects as the previous active chemical did. look into it.

@@kokolatte825 i would say be mindful of all chemicals and the companies that distribute them! pesticides, herbicides, cleaning products. i think dupont is one of the biggest offending COMPANIES just because it's something you would be using multiple times a day, in different applications around your house! the can of campbells soup that has bpa in it isn't great either, but you're not eating campbells soup three times a day, every day of the week. if you were only asking in the way of non stick technologies, they are everywhere and made primarily with the same chemical no matter the distributor (i think ceramic cookware is the exception; it is non-stick and not ptfe). from what i understand, all the rest of the non stick you'll find in hardware and cookware stores = teflon. you should google everything else they put that shit on! raincoats, carpets, engines. gen x, the new chemical dupont has created in order to produce the stuff, has already joined the previous chemical in polluting the waterways...so there's no real 100% avoidance of it altogether. just, as you say, mindfulness. i've switched to cast iron cookware. the best advice i have is to research companies and products before ever buying into them! it's taxing but it's worth the peace of mind. and trying to go back to nature is almost always the answer. hope that helped hehe sorry for the longwinded spiel

DuPont was merged with Dow Chemical company. Dow Chemical company owned Union Carbide which was responsible for Bhopal Gas Tragedy in 1984 in Bhopal, India. The merger created more hurdles for victims to get rightful compensation.

Look up “vintage paragon zodiac gallery crewel linen embroidery kit (Scorpio)”. I bought some of them (Cancer, Aries, Scorpio)at a yard sale from a woman who made them for her kids, but when my new baby was born had to add a Taurus, and looked it up to see what the pattern was. Hope you find it!

Love your videos but Just an honest question/comment/thought - do you think we will promote sustainability and reduce or eliminate fast fashion by buying 2nd hand fast fashion brands like fashion nova? I feel like we might be promoting more recklessness by buying fast fashion 2nd hand. There are people that are ‘in-between’ and are aware of the issues with buying fast fashion but still cannot drop that habit might get a false sense of ‘doing the right thing’ if they think they can buy and then just sell it on thredup or other similar stores and everything will be alright.

I'm just curious, what are everyone's thoughts on buying clothes thrifted from problematic brands and fast fashion brands? Technically, by thrifting, none of the money will go to the company. Should we avoid thrifting such brands, or is it okay?

I think its ok because you're not giving your money to that brand. I just think that we should not shame people for buying fast fashion if that's what is more affordable to them. Especially nowadays where thrift store prices are increasing because people are going there and then reselling items for higher prices on apps like depop.

Personally, I prefer to buy vintage pieces at the thrift store because of the quality difference in the material. Vintage items have been made to last longer than newer fast fashion pieces, so I end up saving even more money when I don’t have to keep replacing items! This being said, if you’re not that worried about that aspect, the money isn’t going to the original brand anyway, so you’re not really supporting them monetarily.
