Today we are making a luahala bracelet with another pattern. The "Opihi" is a shoreline mollusk in the Hawaiian waters and the inspiration for today's pattern. The opihi is about the size of a barnacle and lives along the rocky coastline in the pounding waterline. I hope you enjoy the weave. Please hit like and subscribe. Do share with your friends.

Enjoyed your lauhala bracelet weaving. It's a little different than what I'm learning but the concept is the same. Can you show how to add the weaving strip when you run out of the first strip please. Mahalo Also, do you know how to weave the Bird of Paradise, the rose, and bookmark?

Just add another piece on top of the piece thats about to end and continue weaving the new and the old strip together until the old strip disappears. When you put the new strip in remember to leave a little tag so that it wont slip out, then after you pau the whole bracelet you can cut em off. Lemme know if makes sense
