as someone who is literally Mexican AND Native Hawaiian, I enjoyed this so so much!! What's great too is that a lot of the "Hawaiian" dishes are also fusions of other cultures' cuisines due to the sharing of food and culture during plantation days, so it is so much more than simply Mexican Hawaiian cuisine. As a Mexican person who lives in Hawaii, absolutely true! I just recently started watching GMM, and it felt like this episode was made especially for me! So glad to see people donating to the unfortunate people who've been robbed of so much already! It did get under my skin the way they said Musubi, but im so glad they enjoyed the fusions!
