I loved you all since I first started watching in 2016-2019.. I had a rough time in 2019 with quarantine and all that. And I remembered how you guys made my childhood. Thank you. Many places don't want you wearing shoes in the house! In Hawaii, that custom came from the Japanese! Maui is such a gorgeous island! When it comes to amazing culture and nature, Hawaii has been blessed! Maui got its name from the demigod, as according to Hawaiian legend, the navigator Hawaiʻiloa named it after his son! Since Evan asked, it's an over 70-mile journey between Kahana Villa where you are to Kaupo which is on the southern side of the island. Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian Islands after the Big Island. The island you see in the distance at 8:58 is Molokai! Molokai is home to Kalawao County which is the smallest county in the US by area! The county is now Kalaupapa National Historical Park.
