I bought the p&s interior cleaner in the bottle am I supposed to dilute that? I have not been and I do not get the aggravation like you do and I am wasting lots of it
@HawaiiDetailing3 жыл бұрын
@@Tracey_Brown I would go 50/50 in a spray bottle. Barely wet the surface and agitate with a brush and buff off with a microfiber. Other option is to spray directly on the microfiber and agitate it in that way and use a second towel to buff dry. The first method uses less product. Try those methods and let me know if it’s working for you.

@@HawaiiDetailing awesome man, so just do an even amount of the p&s and water in a spray bottle ?
@Tracey_Brown3 жыл бұрын
@@HawaiiDetailing I have a detail tomorrow so that will be my first chance to try it out
@HawaiiDetailing3 жыл бұрын
@@Tracey_Brown yes. My thoughts on this are. If it’s pretty clean and needs light cleaning 50/50 or even less cleaner to water. If it’s super dirty than 100% is good. When you are deciding on a dilution ration remember the chemical should do a lot of the work and the agitation should be used to break loose the dirt from the surface. If you are agitating to much to remove dirt than increase the amount of product in your dilution. You want a good balance of cleaner vs agitation. Too much cleaner is a waste and too much agitation can damage the surface. I hope that helps and feel free to ask any more questions you may have.

@@HawaiiDetailing Thank you 50/50. Yes lately there's been a lot of beat up freight. Not enough workers to move more equipment so everything has to move on less trailer space so that's how things get damage. Sorry about that. I got to ask your opinion, I'm looking to do mobile detailing as a side gig for the weekend but I looked on line about how many Auto detailers are in town, here in Eugene Oregon, and I kinda got discouraged. The towns population is close to 300k and there's approximately 31 Auto detailers in the area and I feel like there's no room for another one. I don't know it seems that's too many. I'm detailing one of these this weekend. I have the same interior cleaner and it seemed to work very well for you. My only question is, I read that since it isn't real leather, Tesla recommends just wiping seats with a wet cloth and not to use and aggressive cleaner.
@HawaiiDetailing3 жыл бұрын
This is not an aggressive cleaner but always start with the least aggressive method needed to do the job. If they are not dirty enough for a chemical than use a wet microfiber. I myself go straight to the P&S as it makes it easy to clean and leaves it streak free. Works really well. I do dilute it also. If its not that dirty dilute it way down. Always try your plan on a spot that is inconspicuous first if you are unfamiliar with a product. The last thing you want is any damage to someones vehicle. Thanks for watching and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

What are your thoughts on APEX products? I’m a beginner at detailing my own car but I’m learning as I watch all your videos. Also, how does dilution work? How do I do that?
@HawaiiDetailing3 жыл бұрын
I have not used apex products. Dilution is mixing the product with water to make it less potent to meet a cleaning goal. The goal is to use the proper dilution ratio to break down dirt but not waste product. You know you have the right dilution ration when you are able to easily agitate dirt off a surface. Too little product in the dilution and you are scrubbing hard at the surface and too much product and you are just wasting product or with some harsh cleaners you could damage the surface. Most of the products I am using can be used at 100% safely if needed. Just be careful when using some wheel cleaner brands and some all purpose cleaners. They can be harsh. Hope that helps.

Awesome video. It doesn't look like your Tesla has the wooden trim, but do you have any experience with individuals looking to treat the wood on their Model 3s? I don't necessarily want to change the look of the wood, but like anything else on the dash it's probably taking a beating from the sun. I'd like to get ahead of any future UV damage if possible.

I have a cover that’s black. It covers the wood. First I would recommend tint on the windshield. You can get clear tint with a really high UV rating. Keeps the car cool. If not then I recommend 303. Book called “10x by grant Cordone “ he talks about how to get noticed for the work you do and not focus on customer service but just getting the service out there, confidence and doing it at a level 10x bigger than you could dream of while working hard on yourself as much as on your work! I recommend it its on KZbin!!!!god bless youtube!
