Thank you for walking us through your process! I'm looking to create an extractor shop vac like yours to not only clean my car seats at home, but to also use as a carpet spot cleaner inside the home for cat vomits/accidents. I was wondering if there is a way to connect the water (orange) hose to a sink faucet? We don't have hose outlets accessible inside the house.

The thing I love most about your instructional video are how easy you make it to understand the process, and how you visually show the process. Yes it’s not realistic to be extracting a seat that is out of the vehicle but you are able to video it better that way

Not a detailer, but for my own vehicles, I’ve used the Bissel head on my shop vac and a pump sprayer of warm water for years. It’s not the most efficient, but I think the Bissel head cost approximately $10.00, and the Home Depot sprayer about the same. For the cost, it works well enough.

Great video Jeremy. Thanks for showing everything needed. I don't do much extracting, so I bought that clear Amazon extractor head without the water source and it works fine for my needs. The clear head is definitely a plus being able to see the status of the water being extracted. Keep up the amazing work.

Excellent presentation, no argument on how effective the process can be. Pretreat, spot clean, drill brush, extract … it’s all great! But … you know, I do have an argument. Extraction: First, hot water IS a key element of upholstery cleaning. Not just “hot” or “warm” water but water that exceeds 150 degrees Fahrenheit. No, hot water is NOT required when cleaning the surface materials of upholstery, but then you won’t need an extractor for that anyway. Some sort of enzyme killer is also vital in breaking down the yuck. P&S did a great job on their products. Lift. You need a minimum of 100 Lift for proper extraction, 130-140 Lift recommended. Otherwise you’ll end up with soggy clients. Not to mention (depending on the environment) you can promote the growth of mildew or mold if too much moisture remains. I think the shop vac extractor conversion is an excellent choice for surface cleaning only. I am not 100% on deep cleaning with it. It is more budget friendly and seems to be effective but I just don’t see any real evidence that warrants its use beyond surface upholstery cleaning. Bio Break is the product I use. Don’t get me wrong, I like the P&S products but BB has never failed me where P&S has. Again, most situations, P&S is going to get the job done … mostly. I just trust Bio Break more. When I recommend upholstery cleaning chemicals, it’s BB not P&S. 😊

What is a mobile van detailing how will you hook the extractor up
@Secret_Sun33
@Secret_Sun33 3 ай бұрын
It makes more sense to use this setup as a mobile detailer since 1: takes up less space and 2: no expensive equipment to replace and maintain. I attatch a pump sprayer as the water source.
