THIS BOSS WAS A NIGHTMARE! I will never forget when I fought her for the first time. She killed all of my healers and I had only two Phoenix Downs - which were gone in seconds. And it was just Yang and Kain. It was crazy! It was a miracle that I beat her on the first try! Don't even attempt this fight without Rosa's Dualcast!

Palom and Porom! If you gave them three Augments between the two before they turn to stone, you can later speak to the Elder in Mysidia and he'll give you the Dualcast Augment, alongside Twincast, Cry, and Bluff.

@@Hawlo Thanks for the heads up! I already missed it, so I guess I'll have to leave that for my next playthrough.

@@TwilightWolf032 You might still be in time to get Omnicast from Fusoya, at least, you only need to give him one Augment before he leaves the party. Next playthrough definitely read up on which Augments you can get to REALLY power up the final five, it makes the endgame a lot more fun and manageable.

@@Hawlo Yeah, this is my first playthrough of the remake on PC, so I wanted to go in blind (well, only with the knowledge of the GBA game, which I've cleared once before). I just beat that Barbariccia bitch, but I lucked out because she didn't counter nearly as much this time around. I'll keep an eye out for Fusoya.

lol when I try to fight this boss, she cast 5 bolts of lightning in a row after I jump Kain. I fucking die every time. My characters are 2k each at least on health due to me grinding for over 2 hours. I just don't find it possible to beat this boss no matter how many times I attempt to beat her.

She will counter physical attacks with Lightning. That's why you only hit her with focused Cid and Kain's Jump. You need to use Jump as soon as she becomes a tornado, since she'll use Lightning if left alone too long there. That's why Slow is handy. Keep these in mind and you should win. Dont try to rush her.
