I’m sorry but this story is so predictable and full of cliches. There’s hardly any character development or realistic conflict. This guy basically is the Forest Gump of Japan. Somehow everything just falls into place for him and he’s so naturally gifted at the everything he attempts. Natural samurai with the hottest chick ever, former delta force operator, first person to advance in a week to such a high level. It’s like Steven Seagal wrote this story for himself. Invokes the name of Jesus before facing an evil entity in an Eastern culture. It’s a nice story for what it is, but like I said earlier there is no realistic inner conflict for the main character, nor personal hardship that makes this story compelling. There’s no character arc, he’s basically just the worlds biggest badass playing on easy mode.

I wrote this story and it is "Fiction" not fact. Maybe you should use your same line of "Logic" or rather Illogic in analylizing ghost stories and outer space adventures. And with your ability to "Predict" everything in a story, how do you find enjoyment in watching or listening to anything. I think you have missed your calling and should be a psychic, medium, or fortune teller.

What are you, Siskel and Eibert? There's a lot of character development. We know his history and struggles as a child. We know all about his girlfriend's life. He uses Japanese terms and explains them. He grew up in an Appalachian area where they believed in Jesus. I grew up in that area and still live here. And Steven Segal wasn't an humble man in his movies. It was all about him. Hawk is part of a team and demonstrates it. And how could you predict a huge lizard man would show up and kidnap the girlfriend. And the part where the old man told the story about the Samurai and the Reptilian working together was fascinating and imaginative. Sounds like you are jealous that you can't write a story like this. Show us what you got or keep it to yourself.
