Never have i ever been so heart broken over a characters death , than I am over chief Evan Hawkins. He was really turning out to be a solid man who gave violet a deep kind of love in a short amount of time. I preferred chief with violet over Gallo. Ugh....I cried Evan died. It wasn't right that he was killed off. How could violet ever find healing losing the love of her life. It's bad enough that Brett and Casey are no longer together....why give viewers more heartbreak? What are the writers trying to do to us ???? I wish it was possible to bring chief back even if it was a flashback scene or something. Ugh ita hard to watch Chicago fire now. At least we still have Mr and Mrs...severide to root for.

God I cried! I loved this couple as much as I love Stellaride. Why should Evan be dead? I feel so sorry for Violet. I can' t imagine being in her position. It' s tragic!

Loved them as a couple, although, because of co. Policy, they had to sneak round lotta times Hawkins transferred out, to be with her, the ultimate sacrifice for ❤️

So I stopped watching Fire several seasons ago. Just last week I saw a clip with both of them, when her appendix burst. I then proceeded to watch season 10 and thought they were amazing together. Only to get to that episode and was very disappointed with that choice. They had CHEMISTRY and the writers just threw it all away 😔
