Well! That was a really good display given the awful weather conditions, I thought you were having good weather over there Steve. Nice to see this one still has it's proper engine, and is still in that very nice colour scheme. Thanks for posting this one! Chris B.

The weather was worse beforehand and delayed the start by an hour, still leaving the opening parachute drop cancelled due to high winds. It was a bit of a shock after all of the recent good weather and yet again the weather forecast, or at least the BBC one was incorrect by about 6 hours (which is what happens when you use 'Accuweather' instead of the Met Office!). This is one of my favourites and the only 'Sea Fury' airframe now flying in the UK - pending the Navy Wings FB.11 example flying again at some time? Last year the Navy Wings engineering team actioned a scoping study to establish what work needs to be done to bring the engine back to serviceability. The results of that are still publicly awaited.
